I don't fear any empire or alliance. In my humble opinion, the lone player with a chip on their shoulder and nothing to lose is far more dangerous and destructive than any empire or alliance could ever be.

That said, I am most afraid of Omega, but only because hot tempered German woman are way scary.

The Omegan Empire.

Most Feared != Most Powerful although thats usually the case. DD/TO have rank on both servers but I know that if something comes up, i'll have a better chance of solving it with them before it esculates. So I'd have to say DDE for the sole fact that they enjoy wars and not afraid to jump right in. As such when you mess with DDE, you end up responcible for the repercussions on not just your own account, but your whole alliance(s).

As for a rundown on what I see as the Big Players:

Omegean Empire - Nice Accounts and will shoot before asking. Not as quick to the gun with going to full war as their DDE brothers over an incident, but you know if you bother them, your stats are forfit.
Dark Dominion Empire - War is fun and rarely bother with politics. You'll more likely end up in war with DDE over a situation then any other alliance.

The Dirty Empire - Nice accounts and will use reason to solve Diplomatically before resorting to force via MAD.

The Legion Empire - Nice accounts. TL is more akin to DD's stance of politics then force while TDL is more like DDE. TG is somewhere in the middle.

THEm - The New Empire on the block. TE tend to have bigger stats but the real warriors are Mayhem and the ones to look out for. Won't comment on Venom.

Tauri Empire - Old School Alliance, will fight by their name but issues can be solved diplomatically.
EPAc -As above.

Ascended Empire - Agressive Diplomacy, misdirection and misinformation is AE's weapon. Don't think anyone else is better in the war on words. They know wars are not only fought on an account level and tend to make the best use of their advantage.

Aeon Empire - Nice accounts with the boost from the other Legion. More of a Dangerous and co-ordinated team then an Empire but still up there with the big boys.

The above listed tend to be the Heavy-Weigts of SGW (Albiet of significant varying degrees) while other alliances or smaller empires tend to fall under the Middle Weights.

Now for who all Empires fear - The Solo accounts Robin suggested. The game is set up so that players can maximise damage output without having any pre-requisite damage input (I.E to have something destroyable in order to dish out damage) and so can live and wreak havoc while even 0 stat'd (Build Fleet/Hit/Abondon/Sell/0 repercussions). Kinda silly IMHO but its the way the game is setup and so we all have to work around it.

well i would always have been willing to thread on any alliances toes
but not omega, when i was in alpha i massed enough people for messing with alphans and omegans

and at this stage i know better basically

DD have powerful accounts but tend to rely on diplomacy a bit too much
sometimes a strong hand can say a lot more than your diplomats

TLE, well now i am confused with this one tbh, i never thought they were organised, i thought they had good accounts and good players, but i have to see TLE during this war anyway seem to be more organised than any other alliance i have seen and that includes alpha and omega during my stay there

but all in all who can pick who is the most feared,
do you mean say if i massed 1 person from each empire, who would jump the gun quicker?

if that is the case then your only competition is the omega empire and TLE

Speaking as someone who was in a smaller alliance... a lone wolf... a leader of DDE's training alliance... a lone wolf again and finally TDL....

I refuse to comment on any alliance that I have not been a part of, but of the 2 that I have...

DDE and TDL, although they are different at the core, have amazingly similar values. I would say that DDE is quicker to mass, but unfortunately I was not in a huge war with them. I respect all of them however. And the last war I'd ever want to see is TDL v DDE, because I don't think it'd ever end.

TDL I don't believe is as quick to use action. It is a possibility that TDL might actually use diplomacy before massing, while DDE that is rarer (would you not agree?) (aka - DDE is more my style )

However.. I must congratulate Blahh. Although even we have things to work on, I've never seen a war this well organized, and the general idea in TDL is... well, put it this way. With the group of guys that I'm with, we can never lose a war. Ever.

BUT

The lone wolf is to be feared the most. I have used it quite effectively, and in the end, you can even make a profit fighting someone 5x bigger than you (especially when they pay you to stop!)

Personally I don't think we should dismiss the Infinity Coalition... just the fact that none of you seem to know them is an achievement to be VERY frightened by.
Or maybe we should.
