The TO I knew was a great group of guys who played the game for fun and enjoyed having a laugh together. The spam, and the sense of community/friendship on their forums was epic. Some people derided them as 'stat builders' because they were generally peaceful, and didn't war for the sake of war alone.. but anybody who thinks they're a pushover is being painfully naive. They'd have fought for each other until the end.

No comment on DD, though.

A very eloquent summary of TO

You can call us stat builders for all I care - I know everyone in TO would happily give everything in their accounts if it were for the good of the alliance. Stats mean very little to us.....heck, the game doesn't mean that much to quite a few peeps....its just an excuse to meet up and chat everyday with mates. I came back to the game not to look at a few numbers in game, but to catch up with old mates....Heck, I've known chris, ad, frazz, mark, blippy, pef, rich and co since I was seventeen....

Never ever underestimate TO - We've all played the game for years, we all know every facet of the game - and we'd all sacrifice our own accounts for a mate.
