People find this type of stance funny, but in the end it's beyond arrogant. It's disgraceful.

Well, i would expect anyone who intends to farm DDE to prepare for it in advance, if you are stupid enough to leave a defense and lots of spies out then there's a damn good chance they will mass it, but who says you have to have a defense or many spies to farm DDE?
The threat to sit on someone until they delete is what the kids tend to say when you farm them, but it is impossible to do to anyone with half a brain. To be honest i always get a good laugh when someone tells me they will make me delete, after all i'm still playing now.

Here's my toughts.
Firstly, you don't hit the bigger alliances. Because they crush you if you do. If you do hit them, it means you're a newbie to the game and you don't know who the biggest yet. Rebuilding should not take much time since your account hasn't progressed far in the first place. If you've hade this account for months or years and you do, well that's just your own dumb fault...
Second, a vulture. This would be to me, someone who raids and steals from a person who has almost no defense because of a war(personal or alliance) WHILST KNOWING of the fact that this person is in a war.
If you do not know, i wonder how dedicated to this community you really are? All war threads are mentioned in the Galactic colloseum... Go and compare tags and stay away from the account if the tag of the account you saw is amongts them. Don't want to go through the trouble? Well, you'll most likely pay for it...
For instance, I saw this guy in perg today, 0 defense, 204kUU sitting out, no tag, no CO, no officers, no planet names referring to an alliance and 2.4 mill army size...
too bad for him...

my friend you shouldn't have to be involved in the community
you wouldn't believe the number of people who don't have forum accounts

Yup, tons of people don't read the forums for a vareity of reasons and having a low/zero defense whilst simultaneously having enough UU to raid or enough naq to be a good farm means you are a farm at that time. Now a lotta people pull the "war" card in this game, well, if you really intend to be a **Filtered** in a war and play with no defense then don't come whining to me when you get farmed, you damn well deserve it for 2 reasons:
1: You have nothing defending your resources
2: You have nothing for your real enemies to hit
You want the best of both worlds, to be able to farm your enemies without being farmed by anyone except the people you are at war with, sorry, this isn't some sort of lame "duelling pistols at dawn" game, you leave naq/UU's out unprotected and sooner or later someone is gonna take them.

hahaha dueling pistols at dawn that was good
but may i suggest dueling cannons instead
anyway he makes a good point
so just tell it like it is like for instance if your omega dont call them vultures just say you wanna mass them
people respect honesty you know

Yup, and i'm not saying people shouldn't be hit for farming the no defense players in wars, i'm just saying be realistic and most of all show your enemies some respect. We all know you can sit around with zero defense and farm, but IF you choose to do that you shouldn't be surprised when people start to notice you are a good farm. Everyone knows you can afford to rebuild some defense, why? Because they are stealing billions off you! So spend up cheapskates and buy at least a token defense.
I mean, hell, if someone wants to waste 700 turns massing 10k supers/weapons then more fool them. 10k supers+10k weapons=around 7 billion naq (assuming ascended weapons), 700 AT's at current rate=around 60 billion naq. Those 10k supers can be raided in like 4 hits, so you spend 7 bill and 60 AT's and they waste 700+ AT's, some attackers and repair naq massing it.

There is no such thing as a "Vulture" in this game.
If you get yourself into war then you should expect to have no stats and have every man and his mothship take advantage of you.
If you then choose to wipe them out once your war is over well.... Thats a risk we all take when we take recourses from anothers account and those that get wiped out should not moan about it.
If I see anyone with naq out and they are a viable hit I will take it no matter how many wars they are in.

I got twice complaints, once a THREAT by commander of a 1 vs 1 (!) for "farming his officer" while it was a SINGLE naq it (ROFLMAO....called farming

) and other one was in complicated chain of command and seemed to be at war...but well, afterall...if there are people currently at war farming OUTSIDE, why wouldn't others be able to farm INSIDE of their war??

uhh... you raided a guy in perg... that had 204k UU???
i'd rather random people take my naq durin a war then my enemy, its my own fault i have no defence, i choose not to build it because i know that it would only get massed against just as quickly
except it would get annoying if they happened to take your rebuilding naq /naq to build a strike/defence cause your internet is slow, or something stuffed up or something, then bad things happen if they dont give it back because then it really does hinder your war efforts.
so i think, Vulturing, would be something that hinder's the person's ability to provide assistance in war maybe?

Vultures are a myth
