Yup, then the fights over power struggle to keep the house in your ownership

I dont think it will be a struggle for ownership. Im speculating. But i belive omega empire will take a house with its family. And dde will take one. TA will probably take a house. And then im guessing either new empire's/ families/ alleigences what ever you want to call them will take the rest. The struggle will be when two families want the same house. And another long term war begins

DDE will take at least 2
OE already has one
and the rest will be up for grabs
at least, thats my thinking

Wasnt there talk of bonuses only applying when you attack a fellow house member? Or did I mishear that.

You cant attack a fellow house member, the ruling alliance gets to kick people out, if I understand correctly?

I give it 3 weeks till houses are only populated by people that are coalitioned and ruling them.
Why wouldnt a group of alliances go say for the attack bonus? Right? Now tell me, why wouldnt smart alliances join that house just the same to be safe from the attack bonus hording peeps? And why wouldnt the ruling alliance just chuck them out again after the five days?

I mean its sensless. Its basically ingame nap enforcment but only for the first come first serve bunch that will get dibbs on the houses lol.

I dont understand why he doesnt consider taking away the "kick out" power. THAT is what will cuase the most ruffled feathers and the whole leadership competition + its simply too easily "exploitable".

As you said, everyone would just join the attack house, and be done with it. Jason might as well give everyone a 5% attack boost, and not implement them without being able to kick.

And what would be wrong with that?

this way you would virtually turn back time prior ascensions and reintroduce races, for all intents and purposes. Its not as if everyone were tauri back then, I`m sure *some* would pick other things heh.
Why not allow each alliance to customize the added bonus to suit their playstyle or needs and not be muscled out of the possiblity?

How is bonuses to the top (in size/organization etc.) only, better than bonuses to all lol?

This update would be awsome in the first year of the game. Now it just showcases admins "out-of-touchnes" with it. No offense mr. J

While I'm going to have to use the houses, I'm not entirely sure why it was considered that MORE stat bonuses was a good way of updating in a game where people already complain that some people have too many stat bonuses.

omg first jason want to slow the game then he implemnt some more bonuses to add, so less units used and more income , the outcome is inflation. meh

I have to say, most of the updates look good but werent really needed. Alot of old bugs have been overlooked here which would have been nice to been addressed.

As for the main stay of the upcoming update on the beta, Houses while good in theory, arent needed. They will be dominatated by the larger empires and we simply just dont need the extra bonuses ingame. An account properly built gains enough as it is before getting a house bonus.

About the only ones that I would consider are the houses with the def bonus, extra AB and the anti-AB house. But even for them, its only a maybe for me

Its just adds more bonuses.

5% isn't much. I made a suggestion to make un-ascended races able to compete with ascended races, which was basically this update, but based on race, not alliance

Well, i don't think it'd be a bad idea, if it was as i've said a few times before. Deduct from other stats, to boose a primary stat. Like i said, take 5% from defence and covert, and add 5-10% to attack for example. Rather then just adding bonuses, redistribute

So it ads more bonuses, so does ascending.

I agree that adding bonuses is not the brightest idea. But atleast this update would differentiate bonuses to accounts.

If you allow everyone at it that is.

If we have to have bonuses, isnt bonuses for ALL better than just for some?

Get this, word is certain groups of alliances are allready "offering" places in a house to 3rd party alliances (wink).
Do you understand the general rammifications of that lol? Allready stakes are claimed and the kick button finger is being warmed up. If you`re worried about stats being added to the game, dont be. A very select group will get them. Those that are worth a damn that is.

I mean we used to say one of the main problems in this game is it being "top heavy". And now we`re saying, "meh, lets pile it up some more".

Only thing this does is differentiate for those whom already have the power, and don't need more to "differentiate".

Why bother having bonuses for all. Why not just not bother, so we don't have more power, with less and less

The only thing the houses will do, is just solidify the the current domination. Thats all

I dont get you.

You dont want bonuses, I get it, I agree.

But seeing thoe admin is set on providing them dont you think he should provide them to all, give everyone a shot at the bonus of their choosing?

I would have thought that the ability to hord the bonuses solidifies dominations of those capable to do so MORE than the inability of said hording taking place, wouldnt you?

Basically, if we make it fair for everyone (everyone gets a bonus), then don't bother with the bonus, cause everyone gets it. Like techs, everyone buys the techs, so why not remove them really.

I'm actually ok with the bonuses. Its how there given that i'd like changed. Rather then just a flat out bonus, deduct from other areas, and use that to boost the preferred area. Make your attack weaker, so you can have a stronger defence, for example

~Sabaku no Gaara~ wrote:Can someone tell me the bonuses ?
Disiples of Chaos - BONUS:5 Percent Increased Attack
Disiples of Science - BONUS:100 Percent Negates All Ascended Blessings In Battle
Disciples of Shadow - BONUS:7 Percent Increased Covert
Disiples of Light - BONUS:8 Percent Increased Anti-Covert
Disiples of Faith - BONUS:10 Percent Ascended Blessing Added/Increased In Battle
Disciples of Order - BONUS:10 Percent Increased Defence
As shown on beta
