I found the first 5 or 6 episodes a lil boring and repetitive but once the character building and all that was out of the way ive really started getting into it and i cant wait for the episode 11 to come out.

yeah alot of people who want episodes now, won't come back because its just too long to wait for teh next episode, so they'll turn to other shows more and then lose completely track of universe and then come back and be completely baffled by teh time teh show kicks off again.

So the next episode will be a space battle or sorts. I have put it as a spoiler just incase.

[spoiler]We know can ascertain, that the forces that attacked icarus was the Lucian alliance.

There is an luccian alliance spy on board the destiny (but do they know they are a spy or waiting for the pass word for them to start there operartion. As we have seen goauld use this brain washing technique)?

Anyway, by all accounts, someone on the destiny uses the communication stones and ends up in a body that is aboard an luccian alliance ship.

The new mid season kicks off seeing the destinys old weapons sytem kick into gear when some aliens take a little off liking to the destiny.[/spoiler]

Syfy announced that Stargate Universe is renewed for a second season! The series was given an order for 20 episodes, which will begin airing in the fall.

Synopsis of shows

[spoiler]Space: The Destiny crew discover a piece of Ancient technology that transports Young to an unknown alien vessel
Human : While experimenting with the ship's computer, Rush flashes back to a time of personal tragedy
Lost : Greer is trapped in rubble and left for dead on a desolate planet
Sabotage : When one of the twelve FTL (Faster Than Light) drive modules on the Destiny explode due to an overload, the crew calls upon a brilliant scientist from Earth to help find a solution
Subversion : Rush believes someone involved with the Destiny has been spying on them for the Lucian Alliance.
Incursion (1) : Commander Kiva of the Lucian Alliance has managed to board the Destiny and has taken several of the crew hostage[/spoiler]

A-Men to that, are people still watching this rubbish ?

Far better shows have been canceled, this one should definitely get the axe before it does any more damage to the franchise

I think there a several far better idea's for a spin off series like,

1) Gou'ald Wars - Prequel about System Lords fighting/politics with some TocRa and primative human resistance thrown in

2) Earth Revolt - Prequel about the 1st time Gou'ald inhabited earth and how they were driven out

3) Prometheus, showing all the missions it went on when SG1 were not on-board

4) Jaffa Nation - About the civil war, in-fighting and Gou'ald hunting after they got their freedom

None of these will happen if SGU keeps up it's drivel

looks good, a much needed injection of action and alien bad guys

Indeed, hopefully it was just a slow start into some good drama/action in the second half.
