And because I just found out someone was trying to hack my photobucket to get more of said pics, I've deleted them from my photobucket and you'll have to wait til I create another account when I'm awake ...

Memorable songs of the night in the club:
You're the Voice - John Farnham: the entire club singing it. Kal thor Everyone getting really passionate about it. forming circles and dancing as one. trying to jkeep upright while swaying to and fro'.
500 Miles - The Proclaimers: (Deity getting out his calculator and working out just how far 500miles is in kilometers and then having him and Whitey singing it instead of the original lyrics... and then getting confused when they tried to quickly add both numbers up to get "and to be the man who walked....one thousand, six hundred...." and fail.
I'm too sexy - Right said fred: lots of ass shaking
Summer Rain - Belinda Carlile: dancing with Deity while dramatically acting out all the lyrics with hands joined.
ummm, mind is shutting down.
anyone remember any others?

anyone regretting the fact they didn't come, watching whitey and robe dance is something quite unique and you probably won't get to see it again

Whitey didnt dance as much as he meditated and Robe was dancing with everyone, even saw her dancing with complete strangers.
Dont forget the song Sir Mix-A-Lot - "Baby Got Back"

Just a little disclaimer prior to reading this.
I woke up at 6am Saturday morning and as I write this my pocket watch is slowly ticking its way towards 9:30pm Monday night.
I hear a few of you saying ‘And?’ in those snide voices that seem to come so naturally.
So I should stipulate that in this time I have had 45 minutes of sleep so if things don’t make sense you can’t moan to me about it.
Firstly, my deepest and most profound respect and gratitude to Jess for making this whole thing possible, not only for myself but for all those who attended.
And Balor, Jess was instrumental in convincing me to take the trek down and judging by your comments I infer that this complimented your penchants well, offering to have my babies and all. So you best get to grovelling.
Secondly, thanks must go to Sue for taking the idea of a SGW-Con and brining it to our own sunny shores. And it follows naturally that Buck is also immortalised for coming up with the idea.
Now I’ll do the logical thing and get to bed, hopefully when I wake up there will be some more pics up that we can provide some vivid background info on.
P.S. Thank you Forum for your kind donation. It wouldn't have gone far on the bar with the way we were drinking so it got pumped into 3 games of LazerTag for those attending.
