So that Forums gets an idea on what the people want.

And to minimize the damage done to the little player (a.k.a. no permament deascension!)

What about if you get De ascended X amounts of times in a row, then I think you should be de ascend for ever then [ well untill you re ascend the normal way.

to make sure my other post gets read by responsibile ppl i post it here as well:

as a comprimise maybe: all main bonuses lost you got via ascension for 1 month AND upgrading the "kill counter in ascension" so it goes down by 1 per deascension you suffer but risees by 1 if you kill someone yourself. and everytime you hit the -5 mark you loose one ascension permanetly (from lg to incarnate etc) and the counter resets to 0. this means: ppl that ascended 15 times need to be deascended bout 75times to completely loose all ascension bonuses permenatly. so its a very long term feature.

and if you kill someone yourself the counter rises by 1 so you can even out the kill account. and if you ascend while you kill counter is negative you gain 1 as well.

just an idea

lol, people will start descending inactives just to up their kill counter. Guess that will clean up the ascension server of inactives pretty quick.

that WONT happen. i dont see why people are afraid of this. no matter how small somones stats are it is still going to take LOTS of TURNS to descend them. turns are very precious on ascension. so ppl dont just waste them.

fine, maybe they would. but a fair number of us believe that inactives don't deserve to be there, so what's the problem?

i just wanted to point out if any benefit other then the person being descended is given to the person that causes the person to descend

like any positive bonus any at all, its very naive to believe or say there will not be mass numbers of people being de-scended that is all, im stating no moral judgement or opinion on it happening but simply stating it would happen, the it will cost alot of turn bit goes out the window if you get any positive bonus for doing it

beside the turns you also have to take into account that every try to deascend someone could also turn out deascending yourself!!
the system forum made (as far as i understood it) means that all damage done to a defender goes on his phys def first while the attackers losses go directly into his LF. this means he has to attack more often ->more own LF lost -> more vulnerable against strikes from defender or other attackers. so trying to deascend someone else also opens your own account for attacks! and since there is no hiding on ppt this system will balance things out i think!

and honestly no matter what system is implemented in the end -be it a month without bonuses or permanent deascension. if you annoy the wrong guys you are doomed. it doesnt matter if you a re perm. deascended to prior or 1 month all bonuses gone that is repeated till you give up. thats part of the game and those who have these position have mostly earned them by excellent gameplay! In the end all servers are only about wars and power. if you only wanna trade or stat build you shoud join another game.

if we took your idea and gave bonuses to people for knocking a person out.....

takign out the weakest players will involve no danger at all ston.. so if you need to not give strong bonuses to knock a person out cuz if u do, people will just go de-scending all the newbs which would be fun but would just be mean

if we make it descending , descends them LIKE FORUM SAID............

then there would be NO REASON to descend a newb unless they ticked you off which will leave most descesions for credible beefs not just for the sheer joy of descending people which will happen on some level, bonus or no bonus just to say u descended a person, i just think we should not encourage people to descend the newer players so much is all

at the moment mainly the same ideas are being punted around think its time for Forum to give us an update onto his plans

Or so I have been informed. I imagine when he gets back, he will take one look at this thread and abandon the idea of descension entirely :) Actually there have been several good suggestions made here (mine being the best obviously) so hopefully Forum will give each a good once or twice over and see how they fit into the grand scheme of the SGW universe.
