does anybody know if any game sugestion has actualy ever been implemented from this forum by admin?

or is this room simply here for all of us to moan about wanting things that we cant have?

this is a great idea for those that want more playability in their game but for one reason or another dont want to ascend.
if implemented correctly there would be no imbalance.

however saying that i think admin and many of you see this as direct compertition for the ascended server and as such cannot see any part of this idea being implemented by admin.

personaly...and dont get me wrong...i think that reasoning is seriously flawed as i know many people that cant wait to get into G&R simple to ascend or reascend.

so will admin ever give us his thoughts on this or what?
i think its well and truly over due.

maybe we should start a poll(and exclude all ascended beings from voting) and ask the people what they want???

Some accounts have a serious problem with ascending though. Since I cannot be specific I will just say they are now in a position that it is EXTREMELY costly for them to ascend. Since information about ascending is not public it cannot be said that it is their fault for getting into the position they are in. So their should be some way to lower the cost of ascending. Maybe requiring extra GR points to have that option might help.

well basicly it all depends on role u choose and this is fantasy role play

basicly u can choose to ascend or to put your experience in custom upgrades


most preasuding would be pic of crossroad either u choose left side or right

also that way not equal benefits are proposed but half of them


@Cheops poll is allready here and 2 third of players voted yes for this idea

maybe we need another poll to get admins attention, this one like many others seem to be ignored by him

Just because a suggestion is getting a positive response - it does not mean that it will (or must) be implemented - after all, you are only talking about 85 out of 132 (out of 40,000+) who are supporting it - that is not necessarily huge support (and would potentially make over one third of players annoyed if it was implemented).

Although I quite like some of the suggestions in this thread - the bottom line is (playing devil's advocate - which I do so well ) - what was G&R introduced for and why should it be used for anything else?

The only poll that would even be valid is from those who ascended already, not from those wanting to short cut it

nobody wants to short cut anything, as i've said many times in this thread i dont care about asended server and frankly i dont think ascended guys should have a say in none ascended matters...just like we cant have a say in ascended matters.

i'm not trying to debate that whole arguement again about excluding non-ascended from ascended matters, all i'm saying is what is good for the goose is good for the gander, ascended guys cant have it all their way, it's not right.

i'm sure i'm not the only one here who would like a bit more playabilty to their account, and cant for the life of me understand why i should have to ascend to get that

i and many others have put alot of time and effort into my account only to have all that wiped out by something i dont want...ascension.

yup u are right but funny Wolfy

just take alook at that popularity contest even less players participated and it was "succesful"

but anyhow this is great idea and it should be implemented

this would be a great idea so long as either A) the total benifit is less then or equall to the benifit recived by the priors (cause there acended and shouldnt be getting worse benifits then a non acended guy) B) acended people also get the bonus (cause there acended and get everything you get and then some )

Well the penalties should also be the same if you want the befits to be close.

Penalties being cost of ascesion. We all know here it takes more then just G&R points.

If players were able to get bonuses without asscession they should pay the same also.

Besides were there any System Lords who were not Ghoa'uld?

yes some because even after you acend you can change race, for instance i could switch to ancient and i have never been an asgaurd

It cost 1500 per.

You got a random 5% bonus to a skill you didn't previously had a bonus in to a maximum of 25%.
You keep your race bonus, but with the effects halved (EG, if for Asgard the hologram works everyone 1/2, it now works everyone 1/4)

asgard works 15%, not 50%.

so, it'd be 7.5%

anyway, i don't think that'd be how it works.

I wasn't going off exact figures, just an example

It would be fair for everyone, that way. 1500 points takes a long time to gain, and only gaining 5% in this way to a random figure (Defense, Attack, Spy, Income) instead of ascending at lower points and gaining a 5% bonus to all of them.

Why not put the Glory and Reputation Score in Market so that:

- high rank players can sell it for goods
- low rank players can buy it for ascention

Other ideia: Glory and reputation score could be implemented to count for some medals in your pages profile, to color it up a bit, like medals for the most aggressive (war lord), the more reputation score, the one with most miners, the most income, the greatest defense, instead for just a bore rank.

YOU CANT SELL GLORY AND REP POINTS

it just wouldn't make sence to be able to pass on reputation and you CANT posibly trade glory as it has to be earned
