Yep, in a movie, a farmer and a cheerleader (if they are heroes of the film) could manage to stop alien invasion while big countries armies could not. If army characters are heroes, then army will win.

I hate it when movies and books do that. for once, why can't they make a movie where the bad guys win? I don't mean some small movie...i mean something on the scale of Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

Because they are obsessed with good side and bad side in reality, so bringing victory to bad side in a movie is not even to be thought in a suggestion meant as a joke (for them)

But...but...

It would seem more, realistic that way. Since when do the good guys win in real life? well, that one depends on your point of view.

If you think about it in the Star Wars point of view... the good guys lost. The "good guys" were known as REBELS. They performed in terrorist actions against the rightful government, the Empire. The Empire was the good guy in those movies, and the rebels were the bad guys, but the way it was portraied, the sense of good and evil was turned around

You are funny.
If it was good side goaulds would have win, good side always win in movies.
And you seem to forget not all ppl playing Goaulds would have same behaviour in rl and applaud slavery and such things.

Wraith would own jokra in no time :P (let's say 2 full days and a morning)
They would own them as goaulds do, at least we all agree on that :-D
