In end of premiere, when they arrive at this new galaxy, they talk about stargates and auto pilot etc...
How did the Ancients manage to build gates THAT far from Milky Way/Pegasus/Oriis/Asgards galaxies? 7bil light years or something from Milky Way they said. If the ship was built by Ancients, and gates as well...they shouldn't need a ship to visit universe where there's already gates there, as they should know how it's there considering they came there to build those gates?

that was covered early on... there's a few other automated ships that went ahead of destiny... they're responsible for the far out gates...

as for the reason they cant be dialed from afar, that is due to the simple design on the destiny series gates... they dont have intergalactic range, let alone galaxy-wide... they just dont have the nice range that the more advanced gates have...

as for the episode... we liked it... at last o'neill got onto destiny... it should be an interesting set of events in the next episode (and the next season)...

one curious thing we wonder about is whether gate travel affects the stones...
oh, and Kiva is a charming lady...
Kinda reminds us of the good old system lords back when they took care of things personally, rather than through intermediaries...

would be interesting to see daniel on destiny, but who would then be the one to do all the ops back on earth?

as for the naquadria planet... might there perhaps be more such in some database or other? like in Atlantis or the asgard core? We highly doubt that this second planet is the last of its kind...

most likely its like say for example a dwarf planet like Pluto, not a common occurrence but is certain to be somewhat similar planets such as Pluto because of the nature of the universe, the same i believe is the same with these Icarus planets and i believe it is a entire planet of naquadah not naquadria, since only on Kelowna was there a naquadria deposit( season 7?)

Icarus had such deposit, and that lucian alliance planet has one...

the kelownan deposit wasnt natural... it was artificially created...

we have no idea whether such planets have only got naquadria, or if they have both naquadah and naquadria...

interesting turn of events in the latest episode... built up a lot of tension for next episode...

As we had expected, gate travel does break stone connection...

its kinda odd that the lucian alliance should have keys that fit destiny doors, but it does explain why those circles are there...

The question remains - how did they obtain those?

yes, that is a good question... possibly with aid from telford, wethinks... perhaps from an ancient outpost somewhere?

Mmm..Telford doutbful, Ancient Outpost - Probably.

However, where would be an Ancient Outpost? And remember. These ships were sooooooo bad compared to the level of technology they would have had when they 'ascended', so they would have had to find a super super old one. No? I doubt the Ancients would be that forgetful. :P

They could probably find one over in Atlantis though..

I have to wait until October? Arg! Great finale though, plenty of cliffhangers.

not the end we expected, but that hardly matters... it was a good cliffhanger ending...

too bad the wait is so long... over three months... but being pragmatic, we'd say it'll be worth it...

Mother f..damn dude. WHAT THE HELL?! I think this is the only season I've ever seen in Stargate series that has ever had that hard of a cliffhanger and unanswered notes.
