Indeed, but if you do it would cut a slack for the newcomers and weaker players, because they can ascend earlier and have an avantage, since they have less to lose in ascending.

To ascend you still have to meet other conditions right now, not just the glory&rep score.

The benefits for the high rank would be to trade it, lets call it a "special tradable income" to reward our high rank glory and reputation.

In story line, Oma DID teach Daniel to ascend (trade ascention with him), and the Ori CAN make you ascend if they wish, so the trade of ascention points is in SG storyline.
You get there by yourself or learn from others.

After all, if you dont ascend or are a Living God, what good comes from Glory&Rep points?

thats exactly the point though carra.. G&R was made for ascension only. Although I'd like to see tradeable G&Rs.. I know its not going to happen because then all the strong people would actually sit in the top ranks and have another resource to sell furthering the gap even more! It can't happen.. it won't happen.. stop talking about it.

and the fact it massively cheapens the acheivements of people who were not able to ascend 6 times off half a days income the moment ascension was released, and do it in 2 weeks to boot.

G&R should only be used as a way to assend. but it is true that all the high ranks r the same cus of assendtion, i put it to u that we should make that each race gets very diffrent things when they assend so there will be big differences in the race's like there is in real life and on the TV show Star Gate Wars

As G+R are useless, can't they be used in some way that they could be used, feasibly, in the show. I was thinking that when you had, say, one hundred, you get access to a special, elite merc market place. This allows you to 'buy' mercs with you G+R. But these mercs count as supers in the purposes of spying, and calculations.

At least then I could buy some mercs, maybe lol.

another thing ascenstion server was supposed to be a challenge of some sort to help the main. but so far i dont see how the ascended server helps ascended was supposed to be a special. their is no killing because people would cry. the is no ascended beings against ascended beings like admin said their would be . your ascended server is a waste of server resources if it doesnt effect the main. so why have it ? lol

been 3 months admin has returned my email .

um .........the boost that players get to all stats does affect main.........and the players sacrificing large numbers of resources to ascend sometimes affects main as well
