it was good for about an hour but then dropped into lagg again :'(

i havent heard back from the messages that i have sent admin or anything on here... am i posting in the wrong area?

i logged out and back in on my comp and it worked fine after that.

ok this is not nice.
i have had 2 days of no lagg and now i get to the pc and try to bank my naq and the darn page wont load... i have tried scans and resets but it still takes me over 10 mins to load a page.
the forum loads find and other games load fine it is only SGW and adjacent games like ascended.
it took me 11 mins to load the home page for SGW just so i can logg in.

and no i am not talking about turn lagg as i have been playing for over a year now and i know what that is.
this has not been a problem previously.

i am very unhappy with the way that the game is running atm as when i log on at my friends house then there is no problem with my page load time.
15 minute page load time is ridiculous.

i have done my virus scans and yet i cant see why it would affect one site and not another...

ascended and main are having this trouble.
this forum does not lagg when loading...

again i will say that i am NOT talking about turn lagg.

If the game is working fine from one location (your friend) but not another (your house) and most of the rest of the players aren't experiencing the same issues as you then the problem is almost certainly with your home location.

I'd recommend that you run a traceroute during the time that the game is slow for you. You can run a traceroute by typing "tracert stargatewars.com" from a command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd). Once you know for sure where your packets are getting hung up, you can contact your local ISP and see if there is anything they can do. The game administration isn't likely to be unable to help you with non-specific connection latency issues.

I had lag last week 1 day, but now it's already the 3 day this week that I have lag.
It takes about 5 min the load the main screen and then another 5 min to log in. And when I'm logged in it's impossible to do anything true the lag.
Any1 know when this will be over?

same here... i've had about 3 days lag this week! lagging again today.
i don't know for the rest, but for me it loads the game interface thing... the whole thing on the left, but stops loading at ads... when i look into the status bar i always see adds loading. it looks like this..

i know the ads support this site, but the lag troubles a lot of people... now if everyone or most of others have the problem with ads, then something should be done..

EDIT* The forum works fine. no lag here!

i have tried the trace over the last day and most of it says that it gets timed out. the last 10 of the trace runs are timed out. not like i have any idea what that means :S

ok this is seriously pissing me off. for the last three ( or even more ) weeks the SGW site is SO DAMN SLOW . could u pls fix the damn problem, i already lost like 8k ranks and just to get to the general menu takes me like 15 minutes to load up the damn site . WTH is going on ?

Nothing out of the ordinary around here (well, except that the later versions of FF don't seem to work quite as well as the earlier ones, but that's another story...), so I assume it might have something to do with your computer/internet connection/ISP.
Hope it gets fixed for you, would hate (i.e. go crazy) to have to wait 15 mins to load SGW myself...

well the latest thing to have me frustrated is that me and my brother both have our own computers and both play the same games.
now this morning i was playing and there was no way that my brother could get a game plann happening because he was lagging at a rate of 15-20 min page load time and i was able to play at a near normal rate. now with this occurring i would assume that this lagg is definitely not have anything to do with our connection to the game but must have something to do with the way that the game is reacting the new/old software.
plz admin i know you are trying but i like this game and would like to continue playing at a normal rate.

googlesyndication used too cause me alot of problems too
i got myself an add blocker and blocked those pages for a while
now im not using an add blocker and they load ok
sry i cant be of any help just letting you know your not alone
