Go back, find out the exact costs...
Then go buy the UU. You do not need compensation. Massing us and then surrendering straight away. I know for a fact they even had you moved to their alliance.

Lithium I really dont care to be honest about what you think.
Its simple their isnt much to mass in TC and when we do begin on someone they PPT.
When woody surrendered whilst in FE the war was still with FE, as soon as it was extended to whole of TC of course he was back into the frame of things
Woody:
hey guys,\
iam offically surrendering my account from the war as of now.
the reason for this is its getting close to my exams at uni and i need to focus on those and study hard so i dont fail and can come back next year

You seemed to be on enough to war

Anyway lets keep having fun
Cheers

as of the end of this week iam next to inactive with the month and a half leading into exams
and i hardly wanted to be in the war for 2weeks and then have to quit figued it was better for both if we didnt waste our resources on each other...
and as i said i was not aware that i would be massed as i thought i had surrendered from the war which i had and no one informed me that my surrender was no longer accepted
and as i said to you andy before i was massed and lost 5 planets to the 1 def i massed so i lost a lot more in that then you guys did so dont try and use that

Want compensation take it from their accounts. thats war for you.
ANy idiot would think if the war changed and the alliance they were suddenyl in was involved then they werent safe anymore.
You should of just vac'd after claiming you had no spare time instead of obviously playing.
So man up and face it, its war, no compensation given.
Hell i aint evein involved anymore and you annoyed me!!

I never saw a post saying the war was changed/extended. People from AG said they were going to mass members outside of FE if FE didn't keep high enough defences, they never stated the war was expanded from AG vs. FE to AG vs. TC.
So, if an official surrender has been accepted, you'd think it'd be common courtesy that it needed an official statement that the war was now AG vs. TC before attacking woody?
I mean, personally I wouldn't like it if it's an AG vs. FE war and I got massed as you guys are bored, but in all fairness you did say it was possible. Woody however officially surrendered and it got accepted, so what's AG's word/promise worth if it's blatantly ignored later?

Since you can't do much ingame... is your goal to destroy AG by being ever so boring?
AG... bringin' sexy back ... AG... for you to envy ! I'll be coming back with a stronger account as soon as I finish getting my tune-ups on my car ready. My boys will keep giving you hell I'm sure.

go back a few pages, Ag has quite clearly stated that if FE dont put up defences to make being in a war worthwhile, AG will hit them in anyway they can to damage them. As to go to war and just snipe is not beneficial to those who have the balls to put something up.
if TC or FE do not have the resources to spend (waste) on building something of equal size to challenge AG, then TC / FE have already lost and should stop delaying the inevitable and surrender.

I love how you can give a serious response to a serious question. Stunning!
Edit: Aside from Tziki, whom I thank for the response! And I know AG stated that. And like I said, I personally don't find it all that great that AG attacks TC members outside of FE. However, you did say you were going to, and in that sense you did indeed give a heads up and I don't have a problem with this. It's a war game after all.
In my previous message I was talking about woody specifically, who officially surrendered, which was accepted by AG. Why attack someone whose surrender you've accepted? What is your word as an alliance worth if you do that?
In my opinion, shouldn't woody been given a heads up on his surrender not being accepted anymore? Or an official announcement here that the war had extended to AG vs. TC?

What I saw, was not so much a surrender, as a request to move to another alliance, one that was not currently involved in the war. As the war expanded to TC (foretold by AG on numerous occasions, as you said yourself in the above quote), Woody's new alliance became involved. That includes Woody. It would be logical to presume that the only way not to be in this war, is by leaving TC altogether..
Although that's just what I see. I'm sure someone from AG will tell you exactly how it works.
Mesocricetus wrote:In my opinion, shouldn't woody been given a heads up on his surrender not being accepted anymore? Or an official announcement here that the war had extended to AG vs. TC?
Of course not. I'm in alliance A. Alliance Z is at war with Alliance A. I move to alliance B after telling Alliance Z. Alliance B is included in the war.
What do you think happens to me, as a new member of Alliance B? I get a special message? I didn't do an individual surrender..

Well, I went back in the thread to have a look, and woody did really give an official surrender, and not just a request to move alliance:Kjarkur wrote:woody1 wrote:hey guys,\

hopefully you guys have fun and i wish i could have continued to war it was really fun playing with you guys and learning from your experience!!
cheers,

Surrender accepted.
Best of luck with your exams m8.

That's why I differ between my situation, as an TC member outside of FE who could've potentially have been massed if I was interesting enough as a target/not on PPT at all times for ascension purposes, and woody who made an official surrender.
Also, AG did indeed forewarn there could be attacks to TC members outside of FE, but they never stated that the war between AG vs. FE was now officially expanded to AG vs. TC. So when woody's alliance, EE, isn't officially in war and his surrender was officially accepted by AG, shouldn't he as an individual be left out of the fighting by AG, at least?Juliette wrote:Of course not. I'm with you here right up until "Alliance B is included in the war". AG has stated it could start attacking some members outside of FE, but it never said other TC alliances were fully included in the war now.
Aside from that, woody did in fact make an individual surrender, as you can see in the above quote. So in that case it would seem fair to give him a heads up then, I think?

I think you need to read what I said.
His surrender was accepted but I already stated my members were free to hit anyone outside FE due to the fact that FE thinks we'll fight on their terms after YOU declared war. So he'd never be safe in any TC alliance while this war is ongoing.
(I'm not sure but I believe I PM'ed him or your leader about it)
So even if he surrendered, he could still be attacked while FE refuses to build anything up for us. When we build loads for them!
Now stop complaining... it's humiliating to declare war and then whine about it being unfair.
