There's absolutely no logic into accusing the opposite team of being boring to find an excuse for a defeat. You know, usually, it's cheating from other team, bad referee, etc...
But well, I guess I have to learn to this rather ignorant audience how people who cannot take a defeat react. :-k

Want to know why I find Swiss boring? They didn't score anything last world cup, and lost two of their matches in Euro 2008 despite being hosts and ended last of their group.
Now, that's a slighty more realistic reason than the one you assumed, don't you think? :)

I would rather my country not be in it if they had to cheat with a hand ball to make it in [-X

I would be quite a dumpish supporter if I whinned to see my team being qualified considering who Henry is, and who he's not (the likes of Materazzi who lives by yellow cards).
But well...I'm not sad enough to hate such a great player for one bad action. I would be an insult to supporters, team, and nation if I was. :-)

So you think teams who surprise with their performance are boring?!

LOL.. a sore loser, indeed.

And "Subsaharian teams are hardly ever boring"? Tell that to the Central African Republic..

Also, I thought you didn't believe in nations anymore? Thought you only believed in the EU? :P

Did I say that Japan, New Zealand, Honduras...were boring?
No
So please, stop with assuming things, thank you.

I think everyone should open their eyes and read this post very carefully before assuming again.
It's boring (yes, that, is) to have to repeat myself over same and same things. :?

Underlined is the key word, assuming again, wrong again.

Calm down girls eh? No need for bitterness. It doesn't matter how a team wins as long as they win. Switzerland are a very boring team to watch, fact. They lack creativity and flair but despite this, they got the goal that decided the match today. These things happen all the time in domestic leagues. It's called stifling the opposition and is a fair tactic. How else do you beat teams that outclass you in terms of technical ability? Rhetorical question by the way.

This match I feel was the most interesting so far and i feel that it had the most nail biting last 30 minutes of any match so far. This match was far from boring. So if Switzerland is boring then how come this match was very far from boring?

The match wasn't boring, but Switzerland are a boring nation to watch. There is a difference Clarkey.
