Censorship in the news is all editorial bias. There's a reason Fox leans right and CNN left. Each news station has its own spin. And yes, the FCC does censor material. So freaking what?

im neutral on the matter. my politiacal loyalty lies with Japan, so i dont give a damn what the the US anymore, so long as they do nothing to negatively effect Japan.

OK, according to my analisys via RoN, the US would get pwned in infantry and pwn in everything else.

there, teh wars over now. US wins, China submits several thousand female slaves as a surrender payment, everyones happy. :-D

~Zeke~ - the last parts a joke, if you dont get it then just ignore it...

The rest of the world would win just think of how many Americans have gone on people killing sprees with automatic weapons, Now all this techo killing more people quicker, In like a minute one american could wipe out fifteen times as many people as now WOW! go the unstable mind.

hmm... i mainly am familiar with the united states and australian militaries. I mentioned in another thread probably a year or so back, that there are plusses and minuses for each force.

Generally American troops arent as well trained as Australian troops, however there are more Americans anyhow.

if it could be limited down to average troop skill in a fight between China and the US, eliminating the possibility of nuclear weapons or other technology OR the military size, US should win over China.

however the above is only hypothetical, and the different aspects of this supposed conflict cannot be limited to average troop skill alone. how about their sustaining resources? if the war was faught in neither US or China, i'd guess that China would have the upper hand, they do have a decent economy.

Lol Zeke, that would mean that China eventually dies out, as they are already defiicient in women and their population has dropped. The government's so desperate, they're willing to ignore the birth limits and are paying people to have/keep daughters.

As for China vs US, I think it should be mentioned that one) their economy is concentrated on the eastern side for the most part. Bomb that and their industry hits a crawl. Plus, there is the matter of supply lines, and getting that massive army to the battlefield and keeping it fed and such. If China could merely teleport their soldiers to the battlefield, they would win on the ground for sure. But their are a couple key movement and industry issues that would keep them from winning an all out war.

While I would love to say an army is as good as it's soldiers, that isn't fully true. Part of the reason the German army was so good was they had a very efficient logistics branch, until they had no supplies to give out.

Speed is key too. Strike swiftly and you can cause some serious pain/confusion in the enemy (confusion can be worth its weight in gold). Donald Rumsfeld (idiot that he is) recognized this, and though his policies weren't all that great, he tried to make the US military a better, faster, stronger military. Pity he was an over bearing [expletive] and knew nothing of occupations.
