i would give up all my uu to go back to then
massing was fun, costs alot but not mess ur account over... now massing costs to much and stats are getting to big for peoples army sizes
but o well

i say reset the game haha i no it wont happen but o well
I'm glad one of the bigger players said that. Usually they aren't willig to give up their giant accounts, but it's good to see some people still miss the old times.
It'd be good if jason could set up another server, completely the same as when SGW first came out. I'd imagine people would quickly grow tired of this current times one and would join the new(old) one.

I'd be up for a full reset, but I suppose most wouldn't enjoy it. August to about December of 2005 was the time period that was the most fun for me.
Oh yeah, and the first bit of units I ever sold was 1000 units to ChrisM for 50 million naq, I remember Esker in Omega, then ArchAngels, then the EA, and the badasses that were US.

nowaday army size is nothing, naq is nothing... its all to easy to come buy. to many noobs have brought into the game, or sumit stupid but how much uu is on the game as got out of control, bringing ascended and main properly connected was a bad idea due to people selling DMU for naq
so bigger players are growing at a higher and faster rate, so in other words. you can be great on 1 server and buy your way into the other. either way, its a dam right disapointment what the game as progressed into due to others being **Filtered** but its how it goes

Mm.. that didn't work with the German server being all new and shiny..

No game reset.
I've played the sgw de server because it was meant to be sgw old school alike, and even if I dont know german I tried it...now almost noone plays it...so reset isn't good idea I guess.

Well, there are a few of us who have been saying this exact same thing for over a year - and listing the reasons why it was happening and why it would only get worse and not better! Unfortunately at the time, we were vastly in the minority and nobody listened to us because people couldn't look past their own account to see the bigger picture in the game as a whole.

Was in it German?
I can't comment on it because I haven't visited the site, but if it was, the I'm guessing that's why it was never hugely popular.

Indeed I was. And yes, very good times.
I still often look at the 'war thread' between OoC and TA. It was posted in the Tauri Board because in those times there wasn't any war section, lol.
