Daishi (Destroyer), Atlas and Uziels would be mine, but the Madcat Marks come a close 4th :p
As for me, Sev was a nickname given to me based upon the aussie tradition of cutting down names and i'm also a fan of pulp fiction fantasy so it's stuck (Book of the New Sun). The older threads along this line I've already answered for my previous nicks so won't re-iterate them here.

They call me like this coz I'm kinda tall, 204 cm (lil less than 7 feets, I think).

by Antz
my name is Anthony, i used to use the name AntX until i found a site where there was already an AntX registered so i used Antz instead and if i hadn't spent 3+ years playing that game i probably wouldn't have used it anywhere else,
but i did, so Antz stuck....
i've tried other nicknames but i'm always called Antz by people i know then everyone else picks up on it

by Borek
Originally i was Scartissue, been using that name since old school days of Ultima online. Changed to Borek in main to try and avoid retribution from people i had annoyed in quantum, it didn't work, lol, but i stuck with it.
Borek is the name of an old Dwarf Loremaster from a Gotrek and Felix Novel based on Warhammer.

by Magni
When I started playing, I was an Asgard. In SG-1, the Asgard have the name of Norse gods. After trying several other names, Magni (norse god of strength) was the first one that I came across that no one had. Little did I know that the original Magni (now _Magni_) was taking a break from the game and that people would later be very confused.

Originally I was going to use the name 'Wolverine' - but somebody had it. Then I was going to use the name 'Q' - but somebody had it. Then I chose 'Wolf' - yep, somebody had it, and eventually decided on 'Wolf359' - having just watched 'Star Trek: TNG - The Best of Both Worlds'.
I actually almost changed it at one time - to 'Bad Wolf' - following it's first mention in the new series of 'Doctor Who' - but guess what? Yep, someone beat me to it!
