'Nuff spamming, this topic has a specific purpose, and unless someone brings a valid reason why I should even consider removing Auriel as misc mod and thus -by proxy- a valid reason this topic should stay open, then I'm going to lock it, as it only serves to slander people for something those throwing slanders know nothing about and hotbed for whiners with no real complaint other then they got their pride wounded.

yes, its a bit harsh the way 311 stated,

but the point he was making, was, if auriel made a very big no no, yes she admitted it, she knows it was a mistake, and most ppl forgave her, thats fine, everyone makes mistakes, but a mistake like this should not be rewarded with a mod position, or any kind of power in the forum, cause she made the mistake in the forum, not ingame, there are many ppl out there that never did such big mistake that deserves such a position a lot more, if they are able to be a better mod or not, i dont know, but they pretty sure deserve the chance to prove themselves has mods a lot more then auriel/elladan

I am not here to make decisions who s to be a mod or not...just a general statement about the thread and talks which are similar to this one.





My concept on how mods should be apointed is known...
- experienced players who have played SGW for a decent time
- influential players in SGW
- once they are mods they can do their job easily cause of the influence they have they take way less poo and dont have to be afraid of doing anything...
- They are selected by the league of idk 20-30 alliances ( lets stick to just first page ranks) = that way allianxce ranking gets another use and ppl actually wish to be top 30 (if they wish)
- if they dont do their job they are replaced like any other ppl
- some other stuff but thats the core...


Atm I really dont see mods doing their job...they are too friendly and not cold enoguh...once they see an irrelevant post i would delete on sight...not this stuff we are getting now with war threads...Also you can be sure that if things would be done as written above no auriel would become a mod and such...

Yep it lacks some stargate related emoticons here but there are many so it's still fine

Anyway, about the thing about not believing internet you said Nox, I don't think people from "real life" are any much more trust worthy than people you meet on net. At least from my experiences, it shown people in real life are trust[un]worthy more than anything heh All bunch of interested people who only do what they want to achieve and do it with any way possible to do so and reach their goals! (ie Dallas world lmao). Not all are like that, but a good percentile. Over than half.
That's why I trust more Auriel than the so called trustful people from real life: it doesn't take long to find out traitors/betrayers. And not even need to be 24/7 with them to find out heh! At least for me

i agree, and i have many ppl in this game i completely trust, hell, the only reason i still play the game is cause of the ppl here, but most of them, are in TA, and ive know them for a long time now, what i said was, i never even heard of ellandar when i saw her post about the coma, so why would i believe it
