So what happened to this.

i cant belive that game is using plain text login...

in that case i think some1 hacked in main game server...i think in that way he could receive informations bout whole players comunity...

daim still cant belive....plain text file for passwords, no encriptions...??

does that mean much the same as the current banking system around the world - I'm going to have to put more and more resources across friends accounts? as this seems to now be the only way to minimise risk of losing everything

site secruity is wholely responsible for these breaches...I had my forum account hacked the other week. A mod at the time told me they were aware of a keylogger issue on the sgw site. If this is true, it would seem the most likely source of the problem. No other account including my bank account have been hacked to my knowledge so it's obviously not a keylogger problem from my pc.

I can't see why it's such a big task for admin to put everything back....tracking the offender may be more troublesome however.

to the person who mentioned stopping access via proxies...not entirely sure that's going to happen.....that would prevent a large number of people logging on from many offices\schools\colleges\Uni's

a keyloger or a sniffer can do that thing, it doesnt take much brains to set it

althought we are currently at war, but this still sucks.

Admin should do everything in their power to trace the resources, and restore the hacked account back to the same level it was before the hack as much as possible.
I mean if 10% of the lsot resources were used for ascendsion, then I can understand admin only gives back 90% of the resources.

But saying that they will only give the name of the account were the resources went is wrong.

I didn't see this until now so.. I hope you can get everything settled Marshall. You should definately watch what links you click (not saying you did), and files you accept from people..even if you trust them.

Just try to talk to Jason, and see if he can help. I doubt it is the Game Admin's call to give the resources like this back, it would have to be Jason's (in my opinion).

I hope we find out who uses energizerbadboy1985@hotmail.com and find his main account.

all the admin can do is to restore yr account to a date prior of the hack.
the process isnt that easy coz there have been trades that will affect other account and they need to be sure u got hacked by who and wit who the hacker is related etc. its a chain

Admin shouldnt return what is lost because he'd have to take away where it went, That is if you can't proove with 100% certaintity you were hacked.

Otherwise, you can sell 100 mil for $$ to someone planning on leaving the game, do a few things to the shell (change email, change password, de-ascend it ,... w.e) then complain you were hacked, you get everything back, including that 100 mil uu scamming the first guy who sold it to you, then your free to sell it again then sell your shell.

Just my 2 cents.
