it all comes to that, and since i don't have alliance to call up and my account is way to small to kick those guys on my own i have every right to call for a lynch, and i am glad to see ppl answering to call.

some are in alliances some aren't so they must explore other options and one of them is call to lynch

so hang them, let them burn!!!

Now you're just being petty, I never said he couldn't collect AT's, I was just pointing out why the account could be considered inactive. The defence decreasing only adds to the likelyhood, unknown to the agressors here the reason for the inactiveness was health problems.

I just think you are being unfair and very narrow minded about this, would you turn down a 1.5 mil UU raid? I wouldn't if I could make a profit.

Cassus bell for an alliance/induvidual, no doubt ,but a server wide mobbing lol? There is a difference.

I remember a time on the server when (certain) people could reasonably expect to drop off the grid for whatever reason for a while and come back to an untouched account. I distinctly remeber the time in question being veeery lame aswell lol.
So sure, you get to do what you want but a server wide crusade against a couple of guys for arguably "playing it as it was meant to be played" (as many of those wielding pitchforks here serve it time and time again when the boot is on the other foot)?
Sry, but that strikes me as neither good for the server and neither too character strong, to be using your connecions and a longer stay in the community to get a sympathy vote induced lynching going. Espacially since the reasoning behind the "righteous rage" is so weak as to "ppl should PM be4 hitting for multitril and raiding multimil since health issues are obviously involved and thats a no-no" heh...

Whatever happened with, "nice find, nice hit" lol?
Surely avenger could 99.9% predict he`d be picked clear after a prolongued absence? Whoever doesnt is surely living in a GA fairytail.

So what exactly was done so wrong here to warrant this type of outrage heh? I sympathize & wish a speedy recovery, but heck you wont find me stomping them. Game on.

I dont believe a public lynching was the intent here or G. would have posted the ID's himself.

However it is perfectly reasonable for Avengers alliance , CO , Avenger himself and or any immediate obvious relations ( FS via the FSFC tag) to intervene if Avenger is not satisfied by reparations.

and Fallout had a choice , hes been around long enough to know who Avenger is. He made a decision and all decisions have consequences , I dont believe for one second he hadn't considered the possibility of retaliation.

I have nothing against Avengers CO and friends aiding him, I just don't like teh idea of the community turning into a mob against somebody that doesnt realise they have done anything wrong. I just think there should be...for lack of a better phrase...a fair triel rather than the offender being picked up off the street and thrown in jail.

Edit @ your second post: Hmmmm I still don't think the whole server should be against him when he only wrongs one person.

Bahamut I don`t understand why you must constantly bring up TLE in this discussion. Infact I`m reasonably sure a handsome % would take up the call for the hit simply for a lack of other juicy targets. Doesnt make any difference, what tag I wear.

ok, i dont want any retribution done on my behalf by anyone, i have already stated that i dont blame them because there was no way they could have known what happened to me.

people are helping me to rebuild and they will have my never ending thanks for doing so.

just so we all understand each other, if i wanted to mass them i would have said none of this and they would have seen me in their logs after a couple days, regardless of their army size or tags because i'm not in an alliance and answer to no one.

i want everyone to cool it, yes i know they should recognize an inactive account from an active one and i am peeved they chose to mass a 1.2 trill def just to get some UU but like i said already, how could they have known!

Im a little stymied by the compassion of TLE in this thread tbh. I did see he apologized and sold off and untrained btw.

As a diplomat I would be obliged request reparations to the satisfaction of Avenger first from both DC and Fallout prior to any action, but im not Avengers Dipo so MASS

Hope your better soon Avenger, sounds like a very nasty injury. Now get off the PC and rest that eye so it heals faster.

I had laser eye surgery last year, no TV, no PC, no books, no bright lights, that was only for 2 weeks and was incredibly frustrating, after playing every CD I own I finally switched to audio books to get me through, I've still got The Odyssey and The Iliad on CD if you want them.



Re the attack, I have to admit I've done plenty of mass raiding, only a few weeks ago I massed some guys 500 Bill def to get at his 2.5 Mill UU on show, that said, doing it to respected and well known player like you, the guy has to expect retaliation, see if he stills thinks it's was worth it when he loses all his stats

fallout has given me naq and UU and with the generous help of the community i have more less rebuilt what was lost and you all have my thanks and appreciation, if i can return the favor in anyway for anyone of you who have helped me PLEASE don't hesitate to ask.
