War in all its forms is terrible. But wars are for reasons be they pure or be they low. Survival in a killing zone is as much chance as genetics.

Are you suggesting then that in order to make the world better we should devolve into chaos first? Seems someone has been reading Marx again...sigh.

No - In a previous post I already said that nothing can help "change" the world.
I've read that communism is the best government. Anarchy is the only true way to live etc. etc. I've never experienced any of it so I have no idea what it could do. Only reference in history.

There is no ideal system to please everyone, there will always be people benefiting, and people suffering from it. :(

we all like to think we are more civilized in our modern world than we were say even 50 or 60 years ago to say nothing of preindustrial BUT...when practices such as eugenics are created i seriously doubt we are more civil than our ancestors.

the rule of "only the strong survive" should now be antiquated, defunct and obsolete...lets consider the spartans who put an early system of eugenics into practice by weeding out the weak babies from the more stronger looking ones, what happened to them?
there society was stagnant due to a lack of population increase and threw constant warfare were ground down until there losses far exceeded there replacements even tho they had superior tactics and could match any army for courage and strength on the battle field they were simply left behind.

thats an extreme example of what could happen.

without compassion for the weak and infirm then were is our humanity, do we even deserve to carry on as a species when we have so little love for one another??

food for thought

personally i would not want to live in such a world and all those who condone killing another so the strong may survive does not deserve life....

think about this...who would give up the life of their child so another's can live, who has the right to make such a decision??

i have 3 children and anyone who comes near them risks serious injury and even death!
