I have a comment on them. I did the math (big on that with this game) and worked out, that it would cost about 1250T in hangers, to store the fleets to take a planet with 500k defenses. So, if you have 3 platforms with say 150k each, then you can make any planet you take, impossible to be re-possessed. Not to mention the amount of Naq needed to build that number of fleets, to even attempt it.

you have to wait 24 hrs before you can a mpdp on a planet you just stole.

you're so wrong, 500k defenses would cost you only 60 tril in hangars to be able to take that planet

not to mention that there are fleet powers of way over 300 bil floating around, so unless you build a def of 4-5 tril don't have any illusion of keeping that planet if someone really wanted to take it.

Hi, I've read through most everything about defense platforms, after having searched... got some more to go, but that's a lot of reading...

i suppose if you don't like this post enough, i just won't get an answer, but anyway:
I have 3 defense platforms...

if one of them gets shot out of the sky,

do I have to repurchase the platform, (i think that was 100 bil naq),

or just rebuild the defenses on the platform... thanks.

once purchased they are like MS and never go away.

All 3 of mine are at 0 now and I still have them.

I was thinking that if they died
that i was then on the hook to build from scratch.

I am having a slight problem myself here, Are only ascendedplayers meant to have platforms - for i have an unascended account i can buy the platform but cant buy weapons to put on it, glitch-bug-what is wrong here? It gives no cost for the weapons and wont let me buy any

You have actually purchased the platforms correct? You have to purchase them for a flat fee before upgrading them.

yes i did buy one and i am not going to buy another until i find out what is wrong, I had three platforms on the account i sold over a week ago - so i know what i am suppose to do - but what about when u buy one and i cant do anything with it, again i ask is this because my account isn't ascended- is this a bug or glitch? HELP!!

You got me mate, I'll bring it up to admin at the meet wed and see what he says

you need to enter the number of defense facilities you want to purchase and then hit the update button. you enter the number in the box next to "increase by".

i cannot see anything wrong in that screenshot

I can only assume after pm'ing admin it has been resolved for it is now allowing purchase of weps, thanx all. Scoob
