Well said mate ;)

To the point. i just don't care about main.. PERIOD

Q i care about cause well it's only there for awhile.

Main, well if i start all overagain, and still have the SS, i just do what i did 24 months ago and just work the system to grow. So it's all pointless.

Wolf

I'm not disagreeing with you, however i'll do have one quote

If a million people say a stupid thing, well guess what it's still a stupid thing.

Just like if every member of your crew were to jump off the bow of your ship, it doesn't mean it's an action that you should take!

I don't see how any of that is an argument against anything I said - if indeed it is?

If anything, it backs it up.....

Like I said - just because you can do something, it doesn't mean you should do that thing.

:?

These forums have always been full of a lot of spam, a few disgruntled members and loud lobby groups, a bit like parliament ;)

They have not changed much at all in the past 3 years.

One small change I have noticed is that players are no longer scared to post their opinion, whereas before they often got massed for challenging the status quo.

Personally I think this is a huge improvement.

Not sure I agree with that mate.

At one time, people posted their opinions without fear of reprisal in game, and mods did their job without fear of revenge in game. Now some people are massed because of what they say in the forum - not as bad as it has been - but still happens.

Other people changed overnight after they bought a big account, or joined a big alliance - previously they were polite and courteous, then they became arrogant and beligerent.

I agree Wolf, there is always room for improvement :)
I just dont think its all doom and gloom like the topic suggests.

I have not been around as long as some of you. Many forum members have told me that I am a good poster and have shown me a lot of respect, because of my posting ability. I can admit that at one point, very close to my departure, I had changed a bit from my usual self, for that I do apologize (specificaly to Sevarin, Eternity, and the few I cant remember) and have very much become my old self now, that life is back in shape. I cant really say I have seen a decline in the forum like the older users can, but I can say I have seen some inapporiate behavior, and like someone has already stated, childern will be childern.

I for one am someone who cares for the forums, and wether I be a mod or a user I would back lore, buck and robe in their deciesions because of what small things I have seen them do so far. I would dare say that the future is gonna bring some very unexpected changes for many.

To some of you that have posted here I am glad to see you still present in the forums, Sevarin, Wolf359, and semper specifically. I have always been a fan of reading your posts, please continue.
