What is this fun you speak of? There is no fun here, heck it's no fun friday. Back to work everyone.

Not yet, I'd like to be able to set the date in stone, but at this time I can't. Since the project just started I cannot be sure of a completion date, or even a beta date at this stage.

I can say though that it won't be decades or years.

OK BIG MASSIVE CHANGE *Takes LOOOOOONG BREATH*

Tauri should become the covert race (I mean thats what they do...duh sabotage and small surgical strikes..)

The Replicators should be the new attack race, they mass reproduce and are very aggressive. Deffo change that MUST be implemented there...

make races a much more massive thing, like they once were.

As for the whole Goa'uld/system lord/Tok'ra issue. make the Tok'ra an extension of the tauri (ie, put an option in the Tauri's base to change to Tok'ra with just different names for things, but exact same bonuses yadda yadda...)

Ok.. well as for the Goa'uld-system lord one, connect that with amount officers a person has. make it a thing to have 20 officers to be a System Lord. Tauri = Lieutenant, Asgard = High Councillor, Replicator = Human Form, Tok'ra = some name I dont know yet...

Make the highest ranked Goa'uld the Supreme System Lord and so on. A Reward for ranks so to speak.

be wiser with the race soldiers names. Tauri dont have SS's do they. Make the tauri's uder unit Commando's, the replicators human forms, the Asgard beam drones and the Goa'uld Super soldiers (or Kull Warriors...) and the weapons names. Swords, Zats, staffs, Naq bombs, death gliders.... knifes, pistols, P90's, rocket launchers...(dont use nukes or targeted gate weapons..it reads stupid "80,00 kull warriors armed with 80,000 targeted gate weapons".. "125000 Commando's armed with 125000 nukes" :roll:)

As for G&R, I reckon you should generate 3 points of G&R per day if you are in the top 500, and its transferable between players. You'll still need 1000 points to ascend. Meaning there will be none of this crazy ass everyone ascending. You only ascend once, and you get a certain bonus to all your stats (like 10-20%), ontop of the race bonus. No ascension server, no dodgy titles.. (Ascended beings in main? Why not? Though I dont think its that big a thing..but it could add something a little more shiny for people to play with... give them their own system, if you descend someone, they have to re-ascend again with their G&R, otherwise you can use your generated G&R to upgrade your ascended being...)

No planets, or if you have planets use them to store units on, bringing a far more tactical side to the game. (Well each planet would produce uu, if it gets destroyed, it produces nothing, so will need to be protected... obviously you need to share your units out amongst the planets. The bank would always be on your home world (indestructible as usual) and the mothership would be stationed at one of your choice...)

That would really kick things up a notch. :-D

Motherships I would say keep, but make them ineffective on ground assaults. Use them merely to engage one another, add defence to planets (obviously if you cannot beat the persons mothership, you cannot land troops on that particular planet... :wink:)

I would say make change the name of ppt (protected planets treaty? did the replicators follow that? If the Asgard are fighting the Goa'uld anyway, how the hell can they have a treaty? WTH?) Make it merlins thingy ma bob and make it once per week. If you by some glitch of fate do all like my greater use for planets idea...then make the ppt for one of the planets, once per week.

I would say keep acing or make sabbing a bit more tirxy. (I remember sabbing used to be the thing to do, but then it got kicked down...and weakened. Its a tricky one to sort out and make right, so you really do need an anti covert thing to get at it or keep it a fair thing to use).

Dont make AT's limitless. I like the suggestions elsewhere for them.

Make accounts like 90% destroyable (ie, everything can be killed... attack units fight if you got no defence...and spies can be aced or something, acers can be killed by attacking units and uu killed too by attacking units, but only down to a % loss, otherwise like I said elsewhere, people will be trapped in a game with nothing, and sat upon to a point where they will leave.)

if I think of anything else, I will bound back with it...

Just can't agree with transferable G&R

whats the point of earning them if anyone can simple sell or give them to you?

well think about it. 3 per day, if your in the top 500, and you still need 1000 to ascend.

It will take the average player the best part of a year to ascend. I mean I knew the transfers idea would never be too popular, but I thought I would throw it out there, see what people thought about it.

The on top of that, if your in a good alliance, with several people in the top 500... it sorta speaks for itself that you would gain a reputation through that (we're talking realistically here) and other knowledge/technology. People could work together and get everyone ascended, but even then its going to take ages, and using G&R to upgrade your AB, then people are not willingly going to be selling their G&R...

maybe just an ingame alliance only feature?

No mixed race alliances allowed. Keep all seperate. No ascensions.

Do anything to make sure those cowards who stay with no defences whilst they mass others are penalised so building a defence and know how is an objective of a true war game.
