That's my point you can't dismiss something you know nothing about.... I'm not agreeing with the idea but i'm not going to dismiss it because it sounds bad from the naming of it. I say we wait until we have all the information to make a proper decision

Aug/Sept 2008 Large Update
Alliance bank.
A 1% charge is levied against income, when you belong to an alliance. It is banked in the alliance bank.
The alliance bank has no current withdrawl system - but - eventually it will be used for wars and alliance features/abilities.
It will NEVER be able to be used to give any single or group of players currency. It will always remain for the use of alliance functions only.

If this update cant be implemented in over a year then the naq should be refunded to current alliance members asap (during a blanket 24 hours PPT).

If they are going to bother to do that they may as well bother to use it properly...

agreed, putting an update in place and then walking away for over a year is rather sad

i think there should be alliance tec upgrades. EG your alliance can buy tec upgrades that give every one in there alliance %10 extra strike action ect...

the more upgrades the better the alliance. when the alliance is disbanded all tecs are lost.

after taking a LONG break ... and I MEAN LONG break ... there is A LOT of naq in my alliance vault.

I would like to know, before I move on, if this will be distributed to the members via patch/upgrade or is all that taxed good just going to sit there?

Best,
Death Glider

I still say leave it, its the price you pay for protection of an alliance, come on its only 1%.

It really comes back to the whole problem with this community where most are just, I WANT I WANT I WANT, or ITS ALL ABOUT ME.

If the 1% is such a big deal, leave your current alliance and go solo, then you get your 1% back, if you would rather the protection from your alliance etc, then stop crying about the 1%

I know there are others that agree with me on this.

I think its a fine idea, just remove the bank from the command page. The implementation is the worst part of it tho. Creating something and walkiing away for over a year with it incomplete is just bad business.
