ie - the one who can cause the most damage (not win the most naq) benefits....

the only tough part here would be to balance att&def such that having weak accounts attack you did not benefit your ME. maybe 'massive damage' attacks on you (ie you do massive damage to them, they do not hurt you) do not count...

The person who fed the most last wave won ME because of it

Well the dragons should have weighed quite a lot should also been taken care in the ME. Likewise gods this wave.

Still say you had way too much NAQ!

and if you want to tone down on feeders
Double the amount of daily turns able to achive

About the tactic mentioned, I'm not sure if a system can be put in place to prevent it. How can the game determine whether attacks are legitimate farming/massing, or if it is a player using this 'protection' tactic.

Putting in an extra 5 second delay for same person attacks MIGHT help... each player would have a 5 second window in which to make their attack or use their dirty tactic. On the other hand, the player needing protection could simply find an extra player/multi/whatever to perform the attacks, and then we're back to square one.

Personally I think its very poor sportsmanship and simply shouldnt be allowed.

this particular tactic of 'friendly fire defense' is now resolved :) see game updates.

S1eepy wrote:The protected from attacks thing is simple, get someone with v low strike to attack you with 1AT every 15 secs, while being on crit. I had planned on doing it for the last half hour of last wave while I built up, but my friend was late getting online, so didn't manage it.
It's just another tactic, I must say whoever was doing it for seijuro had v good timing, it took me 3-4 attempts to get a cov report on him.. And I had 10 tabs open and spied using all of them over the 2seconds he was vulnerable.

But I wouldn't call the tactic cheating, just very tedious for whoever is doing it for you.

Wow, I hate to keep sounding like the "only one who will admit to it, broken record..." but, myself, and my officers used this tactic often this Era. It was one of the only effective ways we could see to combat the incredibly irritating sniperish tactics of the Regulators Alliance (a phenomenon I coined as the 'Regulators Quandary' during the Era). We especially utilized 1 Spy sent Sabs to prevent the High Covert accounts from sniping us...

I believe I originally learned of it from my inter-workings (dare I call it teamwork??) with HiKo, another fringe benefit in the many that I received in knowledge, tactical advice, and many other benefits that no one would allow me to enjoy while working with Hiko last Era. I am glad the Admin found no cheating with Hiko or his friends, but I am even more glad that I said my peice on this before knowing that. It made my trust, still well placed, which gladdens me at the personal level.

Finding tactics like this, to prevent Snipers, could also be used at the end of the Era, and I dont see the difference... If it is OK to use it to protect us from Sniping vermin, then is it still not OK to utilize as a tactical advantage when needed?? Once again, we are on the slippery slope of socially agreed upon "OK" things vs when they are "not OK". Who makes that call, because I am not that wise... (Obviously... HAHAHA)
