I too was stating very simple facts and made no implication that he was a retard at all.. I proposed the point that everyone else is NOT a retard.
Of course.. as I was saying.. I too stated simple facts... and in no way did I state he is less intelligent than anyone or everyone else. He may have taken it to be that way and ran and got you to attempt to come and reprimand me.. but simple thing is.. I did nothing he did not except maybe be more, if not as informative in a shorter post.
Be a good mod and keep it on topic...not point partaking in arguments you can't win. Is it so hard? I hope not...

There can be a great number of things which define power in this game, sure you can look at stats, you could also look at popularity and by all means you can pick names out of people you think to be powerful but when you really look at it, how can anyone truly claim to be the most powerful?
Are we not determined powerful by those we lead? are we not powerful because of the people we fight? Is it the friends we have and the allies we make? Is it knowledge or is it experience?
The fact behind all of the above questions is that there needs to be multiple people before we can claim to be more powerful or 'better' than someone else and herein lies the problem as i see it unfolding exactly as it is in this thread.
Without a community and without peers, NO-ONE is powerful, but before your peers can afford you the 'title' of power there needs to be some level of respect or at least mutual acknowledgement. Despite whether or not you like someone or think they have accomplished nothing they should still be deserving of some level of courtesy. Some people will role play a certain way or address people a certain way, however there should always be at least a level where role play stops and human decency begins.
When and only then you have the mutual respect of those around you will you be able to say yes, i have power, because people will respect you enough to listen to what you have to say or look at the actions you have made and respond accordingly. Where power does not lie is in the hands of those who dismiss off hand the views of others because they believe they are better or more powerful.
~As a side, i do not believe i have to speak as a mod on this one, but if we can afford people the simple courtesy of politeness and general decency then this thread and many others would certainly run a lot smoother and certainly it would make for a far more friendly productive community. Please try and remind yourself if you so choose to answer something someone else has said, whether or not you would like to read the response in question if the roles were reversed.~

It's very hard in these situations... have you not noticed that my supporting cast in their theatre of hell is a veritable who's who of incompetent puppets? To be honest, I don't care lol. I'll do what I want..when I want to do it. If I get provoked, as I have been today... the person doing it needs to learn not to do it. @ LN.. on topic about the power stuff. I like the thing from James Bond.. a man is measured by the strength of his enemies. Perhaps a little different from what this thread is completely about.. but I feel it has some merrits. Look at Eros and AGA and their enemies for a little example.
As for the mod issue, if I posted in either of their manners I would expect such a replies from someone. I agree this community should be a nice place, and a respectable environment, that however HAS to be earned, and there are other things that should be punished and not rewarded.

These are just a few of who i consider powerfull players in the game. I could ramp on for hours adding people to the list but meh.
About half of those people would not make my list. Powerful In game is one thing, but powerful overall is anouther.

kinda of a silly thread really....i mean, no ones really powerful in any real sence of the word, cause what ever sence of "power" an on line game gives u, it kinda strange that u would strive for that power, and make it like a resume line, thats all

I have to say pappa, in your case and Jenny's case. Has there ever been r/l issues arise from SGW in married couples? I may should not ask that, as I dont want to make it about R/L, but it is a question that I wonder about. Ever had someone refuse your advise and accept MLH's? or vise versa?

thing is this, MLH is by far the more active in the "GAME" with in the "GAME" (forum/msn/advice to the mass happy and love lorn boys)
i can turn my msn on in the morning, and it might light up once / twice
mlh turns her msn on , and it would go round the world twice with people trying to talk to her
so the short answer to your question is, no , it not been an issue, cause we both play the game in our own way, and don't compete. She knows who's ear i have/ had, and respects that.

The question can only be answered if it has a defined boundary, limits if you will.
Taking this question and applying to the game.
The most powerful people in this game:
From the game point, then leaders of TJP/FUALL. They have the collective strength to make a difference.
Take that collective strength from them, can they then claim to be the most powerful person in the game ?
In the game, the most powerful people are those who war. Those players that mass for a drop of a hat, ME chasers.
But, there are many players that use other means to achieve power without the need of force. "The pen is mightier then the sword"
But ultimately, the game is geared towards war, so the one with the biggest stick wins
YOU WANT CHANGE:
Final point: We ALL are the most powerful players as if we ALL gave up, there would be no game. So, if you want change, then everyone goes on strike. No attacking no nothing.
Make the change happen, enough players voting may make the changes.
It has to be a group effort

For me the most powerful people are the ones behind the scenes that direct politics and causes problems awhile being unseen by the vast community.
