Ok then.. it is settled!
Saturday November 14th 2009. Liverpool Lime Street.. meet in Coopers bar.
We need a reasonable time.. 3pm sharp? Gives people time to commute from around the country. 3pm-3am.. 12 hours of drinking..

EDIT: General information...
InternationalThere is a Bus service that leaves Liverpool John lennon at 25minutes past the hour every hour. It takes 30mins to get to Liverpool lime street. It would cost £4.80.
Flights into Liverpool with return tickets.. from most places in Europe won't exceed £80 very often as far as I know, £100 ultimate maximum. It WILL vary though and in a lot of instances I would strongly advise a flight into Manchester Airport or London Heathrow/Gatwick for ease.. and then cheap travel to lime street.
Home Front- Trains.
Train fares from Newcastle.. well.. you're looking maybe £56 as far as I can see if you're going to Liverpool Lime Street. £22 from london Euston. £4 from Manchester. £4.50 from Chester. Trains generally leave hourly.. or every half hour from most locations in the UK.
However you'll need to check..
HERE for train times. Trains can only be held 12 weeks in advance though... so you'll have to wait three days to check for the 14th, maybe a little longer.
- Flights.
Flights are tricky buggers.. you CAN fly from london to manchester and use the train station in Manchester airport to go straight to Lime Street. Should cost between £35 and £90 for the plane ticket.. depending whether it's return or not, who you book it with (BMI or BA.. or someone else.. Easy Jet?) what time you fly and where you ultimately fly from.
You can check..
HERE for BMI, and
HERE for BA.
- Coaches.
From Newcastle to Liverpool.. we're looking at.. a seven hour journey (WTH!?).. could only be 6 though. coming in at a horrible £22. lol.
London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street is... from 3 hours to seven hours in time travel (depending on start time, day, and cost..) and cost's at best.. £34, but can cost just over £110 if you choose the wrong one.
Generally all the coach journeys involve some sort of train switching over.
You can find info..
Here.
HotelsRooms in Liverpool.. range from.. £65 at Premiur Inn (good place!), to £40 (Beech mount Executive Accommodation and The Britannia Adelphi Hotel) in some instances and then it generally goes higher. (Prices quoted are per night)..
you can look..
HEREand for Premiur Inn you can look...
HEREdrinkingThe nights out in the Uk can vary dramatically in price depending on how and where you go, and what you drink. A Pint of the average larger/bitter can be as low as £1.90, or as high as £5 (alas, unlikely to be that high), probably best put it about the £2/£2.50 mark. Whisky again is a ranging prices.. probably talking £2.50 for a single perhaps? £1.50-£2 for a 4.5% alco-pop.
From a personal point of view I generally spend between £45 and £90 on a night out in a small city, but then I am generous with the drink
So up to you really. A stop off at a bargain Booze or super market for some booze is always an option... perhaps..
ANYWAY! There is the information... I only did it quick.. so my prices could be off and you may find cheaper modes of transport.. or even cheaper incarnations of my chosen routes. Perhaps sailing?

I could also lend out my magic carpet!
Let me know!
