Wow, Thank you Captain Obvious. Now for those of us who would like an actual solution to a bug, is there some sort of resolution for IE in the works? Anyone got any Valid ideas?

I tried just hitting Enter and it took me to an error page:

browser error...cannot determine referring page.
To Login to the game, use the main page form.
Please ensure your browser supports passing referring information (referrer logging). This information is used SOLELY to ensure your visit is your own, and from our site. The referrer logging is enabled by default in all browsers, and very standard on the internet.
Also note that typing in urls, or using links that are not matched to your current login, will not work.

Your broswer information is below for your reference, as is a list of methods to allow referrer logging. exiting....

i have downloaded IE myself an tested this ad blocker

download this http://www.ie7pro.com/index.php

then once its installed turn ur browser off an on

look at the bottom right hand corner of ur browser beside the change zoom level for a small blue icon right click it and click on preferences and tick the ad block tick box and then click ok.. i had no problems logging into gatewars with this solution and was playing it like normal

this works on IE 8 i have not tryed it on anything earlier but it say its compatible with IE 7 and 6

ya. sorry bout that. i uploaded an old (partial) version of 'left' for navs....tested on firefox. all good. went for a walk :)
put right file back up. all is good again. just close browser or window then reopen if still having issues. or goto gatewars.com/index.php ... either should work.
