Well, i did test it on the dev server, and it's not as a result from having planetary defenses

Player "A" lost a planet.
He looks in attack logs and sees the conquer planet button (to take it back).
He hits said button. Now this is where it gets funny.
What if the planet was abandoned?![]()
I know for a fact that the button stays there even after I've taken the planet back.
If the planet was abandoned and the button was still there then you would get some kind of funny message (admin's humor is sometimes lost on others) if you clicked the button.

Debugging code has now been added to the system. Should this error occur again, information will be given to Admin about who/what/when/where, and hopefully he'll be able to pin down this bug and fix it up

He has known the bug existed for weeks or months now, and never acted on it until now. If the past is a total loss then just say so, if some form of compensation will be considered then say that too. Just stop beating around the bush is all.

Confirmed a bug, but unable to determine how the bug was generated, since most other people are able to take their planets back fine. Hence the debug code for next time it happens, so it can be seen how it occurs and fixed.Lore wrote:My question still remains, are we who unfairly lost our planets to just chalk them up as losses and move on, or is something going to be done? Ok, i think i misunderstood. I doubt he would do such a thing, as how would you measure the reimbursement. Only thing i could suggest, is e-mail the support e-mail, and ask if there's some compensation you can get for having a bug essentially exploited against you.
