Very sad that the season is over. Fortunately this is available on Netflix, so I happened across it while adding to my queue. I didn't realize it was a series at first and thought it was just a movie. While a lot of it seems cheesy, I do enjoy the show and look forward to the new season.

There might not be one, due to our Spartacus having cancer. :(

Last I heard, the rumors of no season 2 were only rumors. Writers are already scripting season 2.

They are only rumors if the actor can battle through curing cancer. If not, we will be screwed.

I pray, and hope for his healthy recovery for the sake of himself and our show. :P

Hey.. here's a thought.
Sam Worthington.
It would have the added benefit of .. yes .. less movies with him in it.

If they make a precoul and they mess it up it will be very bad for Sparticus...and the show it self is wayyyy to young for something like that.

And i feel so bad for this guy..his acting career just starts and everyone starts talking about how much of a good actor he is and how succesfull he will be and then he finds out about his ill-ness...thats gotta hurt.

But the good news is that a very high rate of people survive and recover his type of cancer once its found and treated early.

Season 2 if it comes out will be wayyy more epic then this one..cause this one was all about making a fan base which is why the first 5-6 episodes was full of sex scenes and crazy violance..but from there on we started to see alot less of that stuff and more focus on the actually story.
I can't wait to see the Romans fall.

Should be good.

I'm more interested in the Spartacus story, and see how they portray it. ;)

As am I.
'The Romans' as we know them in the first season are, after all, already dead.
Uh.. There's no Roman Empire in the series. There's a Republic. :P
Also. That Republic doesn't fall. Not unless they'll rewrite history, anyway. That would actually be an interesting plot twist, given that anyone with a classical education already knows what happens.
