Ok then The EU was made by france and Germany to stop more wars from happening they are trying to unify all of europe to help each other this will not go outside europe hense the name european Union.

Other European countries around greece have medical problems, food supplys, money problems etc and the EU is trying to help that by making all EU countries into one currency to make it easier to help them since their our different currency rates.

I do believe this planet should be unified into 1 country as 200 or so is completely pethetic as probs half of them our 3rd world countries.

You probaly say what let Europe take over the world this is not the case all continents have their goal EU secure the money side of it, North America getting in the action by sorting peace as dominance,Middle East making the weastern countries go on their knee's since they need oil,Asia the main supply line for most goods in the weastern countries. The end of the day it doesnt matter what continent your from every power has a dark side and a good side its just that some governments can hide it better than others and to secure a global power.

that's an interesting point.
is the Euro benefiecal in terms of making aid easier?
is there an institution in place to provide said aid?
was aid given to countries that needed it in the past?

The Greek empire
The Persian empire
Babylon.
Rome.
Egypt.
British Conquest.
A lot of Chinese and Japanese empires over and over.
All great empires.

so, in your opinion, empires which have come and gone encapsulate EVERYTHING of human endeavour?

Well, there's one "emperor" left on Earth, Akihito, emperor of Japan. However it's more a constitutional monarchy more than anything else now. But he's the only emperor left on Earth.
Japan being part of the economic Triad, it's worth mentioning. (economic Triad =/= chinese triads being the mafia from China)

That's not what you said, Sandy:

"Every human thing", i.e. "anything organised/constructed/caused/created/affected/touched by human(s)". In other words, to disprove your words, all that is required is an example of something that will not perish within the scope of time we can oversee.

You haven't said anything about Empires. You just happened to pick a few Empires from history, as an example of "human things". You could've picked a chair. Or the Voyager, Viking probes. Or the moon. Or the universe itself. Arrogant? Perhaps. Truth is that by existing, we have influenced the universe. It has become a 'human thing', just as you are a 'duck thing' because ducks have influenced your life.
Oh well.. :-)

So, to say the European Union will collapse because "every human thing will come to an end" is both irrelevant to the topic, and an incorrect inference.

@Jim: :-s That is not relevant. At all.

If it was to collapse, I would bet my sgw account most of us will not be alive anymore to see it happening.
Unless asteroid Apophis hits Earth in 2029 (or 2032 whenever that is), and destroys Earth, of course. Then we can guess that EU "empire" will be down as well as any other political entity. But coming from humans themselves, long wait for those who wish to see it happening.
Unlike most empires, this one wasn't built by fear, force and conquests. Thus, it's not power legitimity of the tyran or assaults from outside tribes that would destroy it. Yes that sounds outdated words but well...

you place to much faith in something that is to inherently corrupt to stand for much longer.

Hostile rabble cannot do much with their riots, as long as the supporters from population like me will keep support it, and administration entities will find ways to solve issues whether it's compromise or ultimatum, I see EU lasting longer.
Because people like me know there is NO alternative. There USED TO BE, but not anymore (that doesn't mean trapped by EU, that means with rise of China and rebuilding of Russia, EU has to live, otherwise Europe will be pets divided between superpowers like they used to share the world one century and half ago). And whoever says otherwise thinks too much that theory leads to practice. I shall remind them, how well communism adapted in reality during XXth century.
It's good to build up ideal words within an essay, it's different to adapt it.
