Got to justify the $$ spending somehow.. I mean it was for an ego trip wasn't it? Why spend and then not have the trip?

I've actually never spent a single $ or € or whatever on this game

I can't say I've spent money on my account either although it's nice to be grouped with those that are fortunate enough to do so!

I wasn't under the impression that Rico's have spent disproportionately more or less cash on the game than any of the other major alliances.
