Do you think the system was corrupt/biased
Do you think the system used to be corrupt/biased

Such as, a while ago. Before Clarkey/Lore/Robe adminship..(which isn't the current adminship, so, a while ago, indeed)

Stop making generalizing complaint statements Almost38 and cite specific incidents, call people out for mistakes... say exactly what you think is wrong. You're not really helping the apparent situation at all right now.

Note most cases of bias I've seen have occured in the GC area.

Simple and probably idealistic solution would be for mods not to be able to mod in threads that involve them or their alliance.

I dont see any reason at all why a mod should gimme any hassles about it, and if they do, Ill prolly get a sig made with a nice pic of chasey laid, and post spam in ever single topic on these boards just so I DO get to some kiddies

hahaha. Nope. The mods are fair, they could communicate with each other a litttle more I think.

Like yesterday 3 different people sent me a pm about the exact same thing... haha, but I suppose its up to them how they deal with that

I disagree,
If they are trusted as mods then why shouldn't they be trusted to mod threads regarding their alliance? Either they are qualified to mod or not.

I agree. You can't say a Mod is unbiased/trusted to mod one section of the forum and not another. You also can't say they are trusted to Mod one war thread and not another just because they may have an involvement.

I also think it's no good judging the entire Mod team as whether they are biased or not. Individually yes, as a whole no.

Nothing wrong with it, in that sence - but people can claim that mods are bias even if they don't mod their own(alliance) threads in GC. I can think of many other forums where they could be bias.

Truth is, it will always be like that. Being a mod isn't very appriciated job - never has been - never will be.

It's a suggestion that's been considered in the past a long time ago.

However, even if you have only mods that aren't involved in a specific war modding a war thread you will still find people claiming bias because they may be more friends with one side of the war.

So can you see how this "bias" issue is a little overrated?

I'm pretty sure some of the users that claim bias are slightly bias themselves against that particular mod.

the mods that are not part of a war generally do not read those threads. That is why such a rule isnt in place already. If you see a mod action in such a thread that you feel was wrong, notify someone... either the section GM, or an admin, and it'll be looked at...
