I don't have my picture on hand but I was somewhere between Margaret Thatcher and Hitler. I suppose Christian Democrat (European definition not US) best suits me, many would say conservative.

~Coyler~ a pretty right-wing person too. When I take over Ireland in the future he will be my right hand man.

you bunch of comunists/fascists/hippies/wasters/social parasites/sheeple/gutless wusses... no wonder world is such a stupid place ....

and the test is bollixed. it mixes my opinions about ME with my opinions about society
example:

It is important that my child's school instills religious values.

it is important that MY child's school instills religious values (i guess makes me more authoritarian here), but i don't give a damn whether YOUR child's schools does (which is actually libertarian).
so i should be lower there than i am.

edit:
now i'm after finding this: http://www.quiz2d.com/quiz/
it's mostly for the yanks, but i've found the results more accurate:

or this one: http://www.gotoquiz.com/politics/politi ... -quiz.html

also this chart makes more sense to me:

I'm none of these, I'm centre right wing slighty authoritarian. I ain't fascist because they tend to concentrate firms under state control in monopolies in the glory of regime (Mussolini, Franco, Pinochet..). I don't agree with at all. And they also tend to be very authoritarian: limit most freedoms (freedom of speech, freedom of newspapers, freedom of satire of government...) is their motto because they perceive anything as potential threat to the regime.

I had real issues answering some of these, due to non caring from me or/and being totally neutral about those.

pinochet wasn't fascist. his economic line was neo-liberal and he actually privatized many state-controlled companies

You are right, Corran. This test is more accurate.

I support it, because there's in my opinion a hierarchy in freedoms and some represent a real risk in security. Most famous example about burqa risks was the terrorist in the UK (after London bombings) who escaped cops hiding under a burqa, which hid his face, and identity.
Outside of the aweful cultural/traditional meaning behind it, it represents a real risk, same as people walking with hood hiding their face.

These women ask the freedom about not being free (they oppose the right to be free and equal to men and ask freedom to be segregated and considered as inferior to men). This paradox shows the idiocy around this burqa pro-movements popping up in Europe.

---

As for the test US based, well, I tried to take a US point of view on the matter..

Image

I am against laws on sex (what's done between consenting adults in private is their own business) and against tough censorship on tv (but I'm not for zero censorship, just censoring the "really rude stuff"), but strongly for war on drugs. Middle/center answer for the rest.

Actually, your post only proves that you are an idiot who knows nothing about the culture you are bashing.

Awful cultural/traditional meaning? Inferior to men? Segregation? The burqa doesn't qualify for any of these.

I <3 when ignorants accuse others who know more what they are talking about to be ignorant (wait, you did worse, you called me an idiot!!).

When you know a tenth about Europe/France's problems regarding this and other similar problems, come back with arguments, but until then... :-$ with your ignorant arrogant so called all knowing opinion about it.

Burqa is sign of freedom for women, while western women who can dress as they want are oppressed? I'm sure many european women would dream about wearing burqa to reach the "ultimate freedom". However I get the feeling I would be laughed about or even slapped if I told them they should wear burqa lolz (which would be a logical reaction)

To post something like this, either you know nothing on the subject, or you wear one. Cannot be otherwise.. :-k

Either way, I award your post to be among the most ignorant posts I saw on those forums, after five years and half of membership, and probably having read hundred of thousands of posts! But I suspect it was a joke or something of that sort, or at least I hope so, because if it's not, the award remains. :-D

You should ignore Pops, Psyko, he really has no **Filtered** clue what he is talking about and more times than not simply repeats the same tired crap he's been told by his government rather than actually using his brain to come to his own conclusion.

I also concur that the test is far more accurate.

Image

Notice how this one pings me as a right wing libertarian, whereas the other pings me as a left wing authoritarian.

Hmmm I seem to recall that the talibans and their habits weren't branded as freedom spreaders.
I might have missed the memo that radical fundamentalist muslims were the good guys. :-k
