I've just reported this fault in detail to the mailto:'admin@timesofconquest.com' e-mail address as suggested in Spacey's post. Couldn't read it all, who could ?

Please, do NOT send any more messages to this address as we'll fill up the inbox.

Cheers

THANX POWERSURGE!!!!!!!! thats what i wanted someone saying something practical (and by the way it works!) and i think spacy's right this is getting a bit out of hand look no-one wants to have a whole extra browser on thier pc just to play one game but the game is free and unlike other games i could mention (**cough coucgh betholia cough) you can get supporter status useing in game resources wich makes it alot fairer lol

anyway as a temporory fix firefox works and i had gotten over 15k UU built up due to a trade i had choosing that moment to go thru lol so thanx powersurge i salute you !! :)

ok. a bit of history, explaination and solutions.

i had to 100% redo the login process due to an exploit found.
cookies are mandatory. every case that can't log on is missing the cookie.
why - i do not know. the settings APPEAR ok, but who knows with browsers (in particular microsoft).
The fact that it is "client side" is reinforced by the fact that most people have no problems.
I have redone the logon to try and fix this multiple times over the last 3 days or so, so unfortunately 'historical reports' of the issue become out of date.
just right now i added some logic that SHOULD allow everyone in, and deals with the security in a parallel way.

If people still have issues, please email me at mailto:admin@timesofconquest.com (still catching up on sgw email...as you can imagine with this and other issues, i got flooded again :( )
include your username, ID, browser, ISP, error message and url you used to log in. Maybe there is a common factor (beyond IE).

Now - solutions:
1) download firefox.
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
Everyone with a problem seems to use IE. maybe even the same version. So firefox seems to avoid the issue (and is a good browser and is free).
2) allow cookies - try setting your 'security level' to low/none as a test. If it works fine, you know it's your browser settings.
3) download firefox.

Hope this helps and again - this is the minority of people - very few realitvely, but that does not mean I will not try to help :)

thanks

I use FireFox, and it allows cookies. Yet, I often get this:
Parse error:....

I can usually get around it, but its still annoying at times :p

that's VERY temporary and is just a typo usually... sometimes they slip by me and last no longer than 4minutes. This is NOT related to the cookie problem.

someone who had an issue please say something helpful and confirm fix or not.
