I heard from Matt that they are getting the short end of the stick there, a bit.
At times, yes. But they're being out-skated pretty damn consistently. I've seen games where they barely take 2 shots on a 5-4 powerplay. That being said, the only thing
really keeping the Redwings from winning is Annti Niemi.

Yes i'd like to see 3 more wins out of the wings, and 1 more out of the 'nucks, so i can make fun of matt while van beats them. Unfortunately, I'm predicting seeing van in the west finals against SJ.
Despite me wanting to tease matt, I'd rather see van play SJ tbh, because detroit's a team that has always given van trouble, and I think it'd be an easier win for van to play the sharks. Even though SJ is playing really well against detroit.
@ Caps sweep. </3 Hats off to Tampa for sure, it's not like the caps just lay down and gave it to em either. There was hard play on both sides, and Tampa really deserved their win. Curious how they'll do against the bruins. Should be a good series considering both teams are coming off sweeps.
Any thoughts on boston's sweep of Philly? I only caught bits and pieces of one game, so I can't really say much myself.

The Philly series was how last year should have played out. Boston is the far superior team, and should have won but they lost that series themselves. Although, any team has the chance to win in the playoffs so it might have been Philly's series to lose or vice versa.
Same for the Washington Capitals. Although, I feel Tampa is more of a team than the Caps are.
As for the trouble Vancouver would face against Detroit, the only comment I can make upon that is the fact they are free to slap Luongo in the mouth with a stick and no call will ever be made. It's just how the series tends to go with Holmstrom humping Luongo.

As of right now, all we need is the Sedins to start playing how they used to and we'll be perfectly fine.
So that being said.
Go Canucks Go. Win it all baby.

I watched it, while reading, but it was an interesting game to say the least. I was hoping for San Jose to win though because I don't want to face Detroit.

*like*
Was downtown, sadly didn't have the hundreds of dollars for an actual ticket, but watched the game on the big screen outside of CBC, then followed the mass of people to the crazy street party on granville.. it was... ohmygod. I'm still getting ahold of myself.
