Good idea. I think this is the first thing that needs to be drilled into the newcomers, no need to farm the big guns/major alliances. If they are new then the amount of naq from inactives should be enough.

Well its going well so far with the backing side of it, so im moving on to the next step.

Looking for someone who can create a forum, nothing special. And need about 3 more helps to stay on as helpers that are attached to HAVEN, but are of course solo.

Would be awesome if newly created accounts would automatically be given a choice to join this HAVEN.

Would need it to bring it to Admin Jason's attention then. Anyone who's willing to?

While I wholeheartedly support the idea of HAVEN, I completely oppose this suggestion. No single alliance should be the 'automatic' choice for newbies. If you want a newbie-realm where they can grow, that suggestion has been made and rejected before.. but feel free to breathe life into that proposal.

After all, in the current system, they can join HAVEN anyway if they want.. no need to push that choice onto a newbie. Besides. Plenty alliances (most notably DDE) have countless of newbie-oriented programmes to help newbies grow and learn the ropes while under the wing of great players like Lizzy and Wolve, as their officers.

Like I said. I wholeheartedly support the idea of HAVEN, but like DUNE, I sincerely doubt its viability. I wish Bullseye and his merry group all the best, though. Wish there were even more like these.

Loki i have to agree with Juliette. Not all newcomers will want to come to HAVEN, and thats cool. But a large amount will see us as there first port of call. I expect once work spreads about HAVEN we will have plenty to work with.

Thanks Juliette. I know most have doubts this will succeed, but its well worth ago. And there are some that have quit ingame that want to give back, so this is there chance.

after looking at this page i say its a great idea, alot of ppl who have jut started the game could learn alot in your alliance but making it a default (and its already been stated i know) a default is not wise as this can also get the big alliance who have training alliance want to shut HAVEN down, what you could do is get a team of maby 5 or 6 (to lessen the work load) to send out messages to anyplayer in your range that has no alliance to check out you forum as well as have all you alliance join this and post with a sig that links you alliance. posting in the recruitment section would help alot to.

Many thanks for your support. Currently looking for those members to act as helpers, infact got 3 already who have attached themselves to HAVEN. I have also posted in the recruitment section, so should get some to join soon.
My guess is not all newcomers come to the forums, so this is where the community can help, if you come across newbies that could benefit from HAVEN, please send them our way. How many newcomers must leave because they get stomped all over for rookie mistakes. Be nice to see those online numbers increase.
