and i tried therapy once...

NS is something of a classic. Yes, it is definately an adult film, and the sex is all violent, as is the rest of the movie. But if you can get past that, it is a fun flick to watch. (oh, and I think I saw NS when I was around 17).
If you really want to avoid the sex, but are still looking for an old school ninja movie, may I suggest The Dagger of Kamui. Not quite as good, and I can't give many details since I haven't seen it for almost a decade now, but I remember it being fairly entertaining when I last saw it.
