This battle will be a 3v3. The teams will be the following:
Team 1 - Name?Jedi~Tank (39/37)
~Guerrero~ (39/37)
Ron Burgandy (39/38)
Team 2 - Name?Lord Katsumoto (39/37)
Harchester (38/37)
Coyle (38/38)
Yes, one team has the better ac levels, but Ron's in a bit of an expensive vendy atm so his funds won't match up to some of Team 2
Rules:- Minimum 5T def on login.
- Minimum one 5T def per day.
- Maximum 40T def buildup after initial masses - I can bring this down if people want.
- NO PPT during onliners. If you're getting massed, you can either PPT straight away, or you can fight back. You cannot do both. If you choose to fight back, you see it all the way till a def has been zeroed. If you PPT after you have started fighting back - and no def has been zeroed - you will have to pay 5T to every member of the opposing team. This means, build what you can defend and fight with, and use your resources smartly.
- Maximum 2 PPTs per week.
- The winner of an onliner, in this war, will be the person that zeroes the other def first. This is to reduce the sitting back and letting the opponent take tonnes of losses before massing back. If you're getting massed, and you choose to fight back, you truly fight back - if winning is your goal. Ofcourse, some people might sit and let the opponent take losses and win that battle, but possibly lose the war due to the amount of resources used up. Strategy is up to you.
A real winner of this battle can't be decided. ME scores will mean everyone plays defensive, while zeroing more defences just means the other side might have built up more - something to be admired not punished. Therefore, the only true winners, will be the ones who win their onliners. As a team, there will just be chaos and destruction.
The battle starts on March 19th at market reset. It will last for one week - with the option for a second week if people want to continue it. If people want the second week, we can reduce the max and min defences to make up for the lowered resources.If anyone has any questions, ask now. I will set up the topic for the battle in the GC in a few days.
Also, can each team discuss within themselves then come to me with what name they'd like for their team?

It's been suggested that I make this only onliners. I could do that, it'll take more skill, is everyone ok with this?
To make that work, I could set up a MSN group with everyone on and you'll be able to see who's on and who's not from there. Seems fair to me, but if it's made only onliners the minimum def will have to be raised. 5T onliners are so boring.
It'll be a challenge taking out that 120T def online, so I won't be restricting onliners to just 1v1s. 2v1, 3v1, etc. are allowed ofcourse. Again, you guys will have the MSN group to plan all this

Onliners only cool with everyone?

Onliners with a mid range defense is good, if its too big it will be too much. between 5 and 8 tril.

I was thinking more like 15-30T, where the buildup depends on the individual. It's more exciting when the stakes are a little higher.

I agree with that, between 5 and 10 trill are best for online fun, I had to take down a 30+ trill def online in the last team battle and damn did that cost me, makes a fun fight a very expensive fight.
Also when people have big defs the temptation is for them to defend more than attack to not set war so they keep nox delay for repairs, phase and come back unexpectedly already having a war setting against them. Problem is if people already have big defs before signing up what can they do, they dont want to sell weapons and leave easy kill supers and it's kinda unfair to ask them to do that. Bit of a tricky point to resolve.
Anyways sorry I cant be in this one, still refilling the bank from the last fight and saving for the next FS Team Battle, but if this goes well I will try to get the resources to participate in the next one.
