lith you gettin owned had nothing to do with sabbin , it had to do with your lack of resources ,

So my question is...is it possible to spy and you're just getting a magnificent number of ???'s or are you literally unable to spy because you keep getting repelled?

i was able to get thru and see all amounts on everyone i tryed to spy ... except 1

even repelled a few sab attempts

I get a lot of ???? on about a third of the people.

You probably got the highest rank covert mr rank 1

A very large amount of ??? on most players. As in to spy anyone i'd have to use 1000 turns to just glimpse the stats once.

It is possible to spy, and you get a LOT of ???'s (like in Main when spying someone you can barely see), and it is going AGAINST the entire history of Ascended.. and the "you need 5x people's covert to see their population/DMU" needs to be changed if this change is permanent.

Peculiar. Maybe this 'fix' was launched after a few VERY LOUD people **Filtered** a bit too loudly, Sol?

hmmm, well it should be fine, unless the covert you are spying against is close to yours.
On the other hand i just remembered, i suppose everyone has realm alert jacked to the max? which adds an invisible 1.5* odd to the defenders covert?

It seems to have changed, if that's what you mean by fixed, though it's not really what it was before. Can only see about 5 stats on someone with 25% more covert, which while different isn't as unreasonable as before where I could see like 1 stat on someone with less than 50% of my covert.

So. After looking at it a trillion times, and talking to admin, nothing is really wrong with it. You just have adapted to how it was, and with a mix of realm alert and close covert levels due to the nature of the tournament it all adds to the hysteria.


Just because you can't spy, doesn't mean you can't sab either .

Blind Sabbing... Not a good idea.

Although i'm coming up with a intermediary, get the best of both worlds.

Ok basically:
-Calculations will revert to how it was.
-Sabotage will be using the 'new formula' to help ETL and Huxley sleep better at night. (As it is with main, covert needs to be greater than a defenders to have a successful sab).
