Bruno's def was dropped in 12 minutes from 100T+ (115T?) to 0 by mezz, if we're talking about just the drop and not the ac after aka full mass.

Guy says "I'm going in". We're watching incoming logs and what seems like 5 minutes later "Ok he's zeroed daku ac quick". It was quite the laugh.

Dazman lost a 135 tril defense on nox/crit in 9 minutes...about a similar time for Bruno's 90 tril defense back in the Fall...if you don't take breaks, it's really not that bad. You have like 7 seconds in between hits...enough time to repair in between each attack as long as you're not lagging.

Just have to make sure you build big enough to start...retraining during a massing generally causes the massing to fail.

A thread like this appears about once a month. Seems like the same old people fapping over the same old names holding dearly onto nostalgia in what is a dying game that hardly anyone gives a toss about any more

FM's 128t def in the OE v AG war was massed by Tekki in less than a turn i believe, about 40 mins from start to finish including AC'ing by ETL. Although i would point out that best part of that was when Dazman wheeled out his new and improved fleets and followed up the def and spies with a savage mauling of FM's humongous planet defenses. If i am not mistake over a 3-4 hr peroid Matt lost best part of 2 quad naq in account investments.

My best was probably a rather feeble 36t def Kjarkur had at the start of that war, wasn't particularly fast since i had hardly any free UU to play with and had to optimise everything by 3 turning his MS down to start with.

My glory days are well behind me though, i'd have to go back to quantum waves 5-7, daily masses on and by ETL back then, plus several encounters with an enraged Bebita, fun times

I think the defence was destroyed in 30 mins, ACing in the next. Though, I don't recall any planets going Borek I think you'll find that I took Daz' huge planet defences...maybe there was one...but not a significant one.

I believe I lost about 400m units to their 500m units...and Tekki said it was majorly weighted on my side...

So 2 quad? Don't think so...maybe 500t? I have the ME logs...so I can go find out if you want

nah Daz took your planets and, at that time, you had calc'd that the highest fleet total in the game was unable to take them, but Daz had been building his up for a while, believe you lost 3 duals, he took 1 and massed the other 2 down for the rest of us to grab. But yes you did take it back off him, however the defenses were the main goal, you had ridiculously high ones and left them off merlins thinking no one could touch them. we worked out you lost 1.4 quad naq in planet defenses, plus the weaps and UU/supers for the mass.

As for the main def+spies mass yes it wasn't effecient, Tekki just wanted to get it done before anyone noticed so speed was the aim, not effeciency

Yeah we fought hard, and sure we talked alot of **Filtered**, but when I got to know borek, he earned my respect. I always say once an Omegan, always an Omegan, and Borek definitely fits that. A great player who will be missed when he quits.

Thamuz and I used to go at it against each other during the last server war, and instead of insults, we had some good discussions, so much so when the war ended I told him he should apply to join Omega. But he had a couple of friends in TL at the time, and wanted to remain loyal. A credit to his alliance.

I have been lucky enough to have had some great team mates who could easily be listed as a who's who of GW, and they all had differing styles, but great at massing. I was a patient masser, in the sense I could wait months or longer to get my 'revenge'. People like reborn and jake would mass someone every day if they talked **Filtered**.
