he is either the son of osiris or the Son of Set of course in mythology he is the son Nephyts and Osiris not Isis and Osiris

Or, he was created by Ra, as were all the original Egyptian gods.

Oh well, trying to understand the family trees of most polytheistic religions can prove quite complicated, as some of them are rather odd. These deities were generally created to explain something, and such a trivial thing as who they were born of can be changed on a whim.

And my final argument...
The true religious mythology or whatever you wish to call it, does not have to apply to the show entirely. Since Anubis never showed deference to Osiris in any way in the show, I feel we can conclude that Osiris is not Anubis's father (in the show, at least), and is of less importance to the writers.

yeah...Osiris was shocked but oh well meyabe she new anubis's crimes which they should have explained as well....but poor Sarah Gardner has fallen to the evil Chuck Cunningham syndrome

I find it intresting that they have gou'ulds named after greek gods and titans as well considering they give no info on the show about any sign of gou'uld leftovers in greece.

Well, the thing about aries is that it wasn't like he was sending his entire fleet it was just a recon mission to an old mining world he wasnt expecting any resistance. But that was pathetic, two little drones... It took a few hundred to take Anubis's down...

Ture, but the the rest of his fleet were normal Goa'uld ha'tak class warships nothing more, maybe better shields but drones go right through shield tech.

Well, for one thing, Infernal was referring to the supermothership when he said "it took a couple hundred drones"
So for one, I'm right.
I don't recall saying anything about the rest of his fleet, nor that being any part of the discussion. So perhaps YOU should think more next time before you make a stupid, pointless post
