There's a term in the miltiary: "You salute the rank, not the person" I give him no disrespect to his title as mod, so in turn, this is me saluting the rank. I express my views of disliking the person, while doing so in respect to the rank. Therefore, I am no disrespecting a mod.

No, they are disrespecting him as a person in his final thread, do you believe anyone wishes that to happen in there goodbye thread? Me, i would be heartbroken, I always remove slander from goodbye threads if you have a complaint about any of the modding on this thread, please, feel free to go to Wolf359, Psi Kiya Trist Of Sharatain (or however the damn thing is spelt) .

In my goodbye thread I would hope people would bring their old griefs back to me. I hope to see it happen. Besides, by rights granted in the rules, it is allowed, and breaks no rule.

Then those orders are not respectable orders. Nonrespectable orders do not need to be obeyed. If the President of the United States walks up to you and says that you're to shot everyone who speaks badly about him, would you obey him?

How are going to compare a moderator on a game forum obeying orders to keep the general forum clear of slanderous, and negative remarks to the president of the United States ordering you to shoot everyone? Plus buck is doing his job. His job does not bring into question ethics.

Fine then, I'll use a different comparison. As an officer, it is my job to keep the men whom I am in charge of in order. Let's say that President Bush gives the order to invade China. Of course, most of the men will throw a fit. So my commander orders me to give the order of no slanderous talk about the President. That is then a violation of their rights, and therefore, an unlawful order. I am not obligated to follow it. Infact, I'm obligated to turn him in for an unlawful order.

Indeed. However the United States Constitution does not apply to a forum where the United States Government has no control. However if this was based on the United States Constitiution your point would be valid.
Since I understand the validity, but also realize that it has no meaning on this forum.

Lawfully, this forum DOES fall under the US Consitution. As my last check, the Admin of this forum, the founder of this game is American. While there is no law stating exactly how, there is a court ruling that states that the internet falls under laws of sea, therefore, the ship(website) falls under nationality of the owner(Jason). Unfourtnately there has not been a supreme court ruling, but I forsee one soon.

So there is no clear ruling on this matter? Since I am not sure of the nationality of the proprietor of this forums I can not say if you are right or wrong.
