I'm ancient. I signed up on the first day the game was available to the public, but I never got a confirmation email(checked the spam box too). I emailed admin. He checked it and said everything was fine, but I still couldn't find the link, so I did what I do to everything else...and forgot about it.
I remembered about it about 20 days later and came back. I tried to sign in and it worked. I looked around and noticed that I had gotten attacked(then I just considered it attacking, but now I realize it to be farming).
It wasn't the foot I wanted to start out on, so I deleted the account and created another with the same name.
Lo and behold:
