i said i might buy the liscence and have it remade, i wont remake it myself...i suck at that stuff.

but if i do buy it dont worry, i will make sure its done right.

an official press release says that the third book will be released september of 08, and that there will be a fourth book to come after it.

hmm... too bad there's such long wait... but the promise of a 4th book makes up for it...

the 4th book thing wasnt suprising... too much unfinished to do in one book... (unless it be one HUGE book...)

*is annoyed* first it was August of 07 the August of 08 now September of 08 what next and really where did you hear there will be a third book it is called The Inheritance Trilogy then again it was the Hitchickers Guide trilogy and it had five or six books

its an official press release from Chris himself. He's adding a fourth book and renaming the series the inheritance cycle.

Take it from me, and I have some personal experience with it all now. Writing a book is NOT an easy thing... and takes a lot more then people realise.

I have written numerous short stories and tried my hand at writing a graphic novel it is a lot of work I just get annoyed when release dates are changed everytimes I look

we understand that... have waited quite a while for several books... it might be annoying, but it is better than to get a unfinished, low quality book at the first scheduled release date...

Hopefully so. Eagerly awaiting the release of the third one. If anyone doesn't remember Brisingr is the word for fire in the ancient language.

Can't wait to see how this book turns out. Need to go reread the first to as a refresher as I don't remember many details. Not suprised the third book is supposed to be black.

actually, the main color on it is yellow... but most likely the map inside is black...
