If you feel the need to spam a little bit, thats the proper way. Say whatever you want, but be sure to have at least 1 on topic sentence

so when someone posts something i dont like

i just have to get a friend or 2 on msn to get on with me

we spam it for a few posts

instead of punishing us, banning us

u lock the thread

so anyone can get a thread locked whenever they want, if they want to annoy the person that started it

the logic with that isnt very good

u should start punishing people that are spamming the thread badly and not the person that asks people to stay on topic but they dont

it wouldnt be obvious spam..........

cuz i could get 3-5 people that could post, respond to that post, and it would slowly take it off topic.......and it would look natural..........

manytimes I feel like a particular group of people is doing just that, they take the thread of topic. but it looks natural. but its obvious to me what they are doing

then a mod goes and locks it, looks like they are doing their job

they are just a patzy for the group that got it locked........... I have seen many people that are pleading with people to stay on topic on their thread, but peopel still dont etc....

It pains me when I see the same people (Large group actually) over and over spamming threads that eventually get it locked......

people should be given warnings, if they are spamming a thread or taking it way way off topic

and if they refuse to stop, ban their ip / email address or whatever for 30 days............

i know its harder work to try to ban the people causing posting problems then it is to just lock the thread ..........doesnt change the fact that the threads in the past have been locked way 2 often

lol interesting theory take a look at the last two pages in my topic in the general section its called this should be in a number of sections....

on the last page of that thread........instead of people just letting the thread die naturally which is what normal forums do

they just start posting nonsense

and such, the same group of people back and forth.....

and then when a mod comes, it looks like a bunch of garbage.........

if i was a mod id be tempted to lock that thread........but bluefox didnt spam it other players do...........

i dont think your thread is the best example, however instead of people just ignoring a post that they see as stupid they just spam it as a group, then the author's thread is a mess...........a mod cant take the time to clean it up it would take 2 much work..........but the people that spam up others threads as a GROUP in a non obvious way are never told to stop, so they have become experts at it over the last year

i have participated with this before in the past not on a daily basis as some do but i have taken a thread off topic before with a group of people, and the sad fact is, IT WORKS...........and it works good........

but i still wish to bring this practice to the light of day

All they have to do is sent me a pm ( and wait for me to coem online)

yes that may hit soem innocents and i am asking for bans qutie regularly but i am not the person handing bans out and i am glad that i dont have that position

thank you flavar, and i do appreciate that, and someday in the future maybe a month from now i will probaly pm you about that

now I know i can do this, but the normal response for a person that gets the thread locked is to create a new thread going

WHY WAS MY THREAD LOCKED or why was it deleted......then everyone kinda attacks them and they really dont feel welcome, they are angry upset etc.........

i know that you mods are working hard.........i was just trying to point out a tactic that many are using to further agitate people, and it really works well, and well it involves the mods by getting u to lock the threads

thank you flavar .........I know you will do that for me........but every other person doesnt, and i know its hard to get this type of info to people, but maybe have some sentance that u copy and paste into every locked thread that says things like

You can pm me to get this thread re-opened/ cleaned up / talk about why it was locked etc.......

i have no standart sentence but i write something under topics that my brief overwiew shoved coudl be conituened if people wanted

Now as far as reporting it goes that would be the same as tryin to get someone fired cause they are having a bad day and thats not my style

It's complete nonsense to lock topics however, when "others" come to spam the topic on purpose to hinder the freedom of speech of their enemies.

When I opened my thread, DDE members crawled upon my thread and at least 5 of them were working heavily to spam it up.

They should be punished, not me.

PS: There are only two options:
Either Rienna unlocks it,
or another mod unlocks it
or I start another thread.

there WILL be a topic on this war until it ends.
