What is your interpretation of the "true" intent?
Well, the true intent was stopping Robe from taking over the world... she's pretty evil
I mean... she... (wait for it... wait for it...) attacked someone!! In the last year

The CF war has been over for how long now? The GA doesnt exist anymore... Why not just let her play the game. I doubt she's trying to "take over the Galaxy".

P.S. You cannot just declare a treaty null and void because we no longer have GA. If someone care enough to make a stand the treaty should be upheld!
I think you will find that treaty NOT worth the paper it was written on.
Even so as previously stated it would have become null and void the minute ETL dissolved GA and formed CoPs.
I think Robe has done well to hold up her end of the deal until now.

dissecting the terms... it essentially contains several elements
1.robe forms another alliance
2.alliance is of limited size
3.takes hostile action against GA member
All I see is "If Robe does form another alliance, the size of it is limited."
I don't think she formed AB, and therefor it doesn't matter Wink
@bastion: a very good observation, straight to the point
the size of it is limited."
The reference clearly shows a direct link to the large size of Crystal Force and its Divisions.
@robe: i could not construe this element in any other way.
We are peaceful, enjoy fine spirits and love 80s music.
Build Me Up Buttercup - The Foundations
Why do you build me up
(Build me up)
Buttercup, baby, just to let me down
(Let me down)
And mess me around
And then worst of all
(Worst of all)
you never call, baby
When you say you will
(Say you will)
But I love you still
I need you
(I need you)
More than anyone, darlin'
You know that I have from the start
So build me up
(Build me up)
Buttercup, don't break my heart
Granting without conceding that the treaty is still in force--- Lacking all 3 elements/condition, the allegation that there is a violation must fail.[/u]

Even so the point is moot, the final agreement was:
"If Robe does form another alliance, the size of it is limited."

Alterans, I am very flattered that you are focusing on me.
However the kudos for our merge lays in the hard work and planning of the Brethren Elders, for which I am just one.
no it doesn't. The name of the GA has merely changed.

Well, Seeing as the entire thing is a game, and how a game is played by more than one person, i think robes just fine where she is , thanks for any concern though over her leadership of an alliance

I could care less what others think. The FOUNDATION did not fight the GA, it fought Omega..As Omega is still around, any agreement made with Omega still stands.

So while these issues were brewing for a while, the decision to disband was sudden and came up as part of the solution to create a smaller super alliance. We have left the door open for the EPA to rejoin the collective not because of some sense of sympathy but because we DO respect our brothers in the EPA and value their friendships. Sometimes hard decisions have to be made and someone gets hurt. For that I apologise.
PS: While I did come up with the name Paragon..my suggestion was Paragons of War.
Above is from ETL's own thread
http://herebegames.com/StarGateWars/vie ... hp?t=46374
The Formation of the Coalition of Paragons
And wasn't it CF that fought NOT The Foundation???
