I would argue that some of the above posts promote dloading the album as one or more people are already listening to it before it is out(ie. hearing music before it is legally released = privilege...which is not the case).

Post and quotes have been removed.

Diamond Dust wrote:Well Quickshot my friend, you've yet to back up your claim that you have an original copy of the new Linkin Park LP. The song titled 'What I've Done' which you've no doubt heard sounds nothing like the video that has been on YouTube for a few weeks now. So assuming that you actually have the orginal, and you've never heard the one that has been floating about on various P2P's, you'd have been mistaken in what you said.

no, i just havnt visited this section for a while

and if its one thing, a liar i am not.

there are things called Press Release CD's, which get sent out to the big radio stations in Australia.
my mother, who is an employee at one of these stations, and has been for the last 20 years, got me one of these.

due to legal reasons, for the station, i cant release ANY of the tracks, and frankly i wouldn't anyway (would ruin the suspense for anyone else)

you can believe what you want and if you want to be rude about it, in the end ive had the cd in my hands for a lot longer than you will :)

ps. shadow of the day = ftw

Well

Minutes to Midnight CD is very different compare to Hybrid Theory and
Meteora , but i like MTM i think its a good change for them , it works not
comparing to the hard rock that One Step Closer was and Crawling.

But My Favorites are:

What I've Done
In The End
Somewhere i Belong
Crawling
Breaking the Habit

And ofcourse the rest ..

Except for the cd with Jay Z , i Hate that cd.

I wasn't being rude, or at least I don't think I was. Perhaps how you read it? If it is the case that you have the original, then it must be different to the one that is currently circulating the internet via P2P's/Torrents.

Moral of the story, get a job in the radio business, and don't use P2P.

I like them, but I wouldn't call them a legend...at least not yet.

Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, etc. are legends.

I Riped it to my computer and its showing up as the wrong ones on WMP... anyone know how to fix this?

Oh, and within several hours of owning a copy of the album, my broker has already broken the case.

I use MusicMatch and i recorded it to computer then draged it into my music folder. alot of work. merely copying from disk just gives links. you need to burn it somewhere first
