You read the book four times, and yet you seemed to have forgotten that the mission implied was that Delta Force/Rangers were attempting to eliminate a WARlord who was causing chaos in the region. They were not marching through the streets silently, they were attempting an incisive blow against a man who was screwing over the rest of his country for a little personal power.

And I suppose the complete mutilation of the US soldiers is fine, because those civilians had every right to shoot at them (after all, they were there, who cares if they shot in self defense) and their bodies can't feel pain, so any actions against corpses are fine, right?

If you would use your head for thinking instead of flaming you would realize that equal force is oen of the criteria set by the UN for a just war.

If you want a more direct method; I'm sure we could have arranged all 300 million of us to get together in the days following 9/11, browse all the secruirty info, get briefed by the generals, and come to a decision.

That isn't true at all. When 9/11 happened canada helped out. Please name one time in the last 25 years where the US has "come to the rescue" of Canada, which would have surely been destroyed had it not been for the home of the brave.

Ok there is no way in hell i am wasting my time reading that, however i got the basic idea from reading xeno's post, very well done I might say. I am not in the mood to start arguing politics or the military but I will make one point about something. I noticed the part about minimum wage and what xeno said its exactly what happens and is the reason minimum wage should be kept low. why?

Raising wages leads to inflation, higher the costs to make higher the costs to buy, that leads to ppl wanting pay increases which lead to more cost increases.

following on from that is jobs get cut. Here in Ireland we have a "social partnership". It is the government, businesses and trade unions working on a deal on wages etc every year or so. I think this is the biggest load of crap. right now ou minimum wages is 8.10euro or $10.77 and it is set to rise again in june to 8.65euro or $11.50. this has made ireland a very expensive place to live. and so far in the first 3 months american and other international companies have left costing ireland 2000 jobs. yes those 2000 jobs were lost becuase ppl wanted more and more.
people go on to balme government and the business. businesses are apparently greedy! what do you call asking for 10% pay rises every year? one coming plans to leave soon and will cut 300 jobs, its reason wage costs. it can hire people in poland for 1/4 of what it pays in ireland.

greed is not a business only trait, its a basic human trait.

My statement still stands... According to some of those 'Facts' google brought up, both in my recent search at your behest, and form past searches i've done... we are supposed to be goo in nine years.

I was not trying to insinuate that you view Gore as an Idol, only that he is perhaps the most proliferous Global Warming spokesperson... and his claims call for hot goo.

We can debate the facts, but if I'm not goo at the dead line... Then at least Gore will have been proved wrong. Then of course, we can resume wrangling with the 100 year/Goo proponents.

I agree with Martin, Xeno, Phoenix, and Psi's little blurb on mars undergoing solar warming was also a blow to your high and mighty leftist ideals. now I'm sorry but you can't really back up most of your claims. Your thrownng fuel on your bonifre but don't have the emans to keep it going and are incapable to ending the blaze when the facts presented should do so. It changes no credibility. I am editing, not changing posts. i have 49 pages so far. Also, to make it a bit more fair and unbiased, I have chanegd the first pages to be less targeted at the US (except the global warming section, which I now targeted at the US and Chian more, becasue they are the biggest contributors of greenhouse gases). The newer version is much less targeting and takes no sides for or against people.

And, by the way, I liked gores movie but he is in my view the ultimate hipricate. He gives a presentation around the world on global warming over a thousand times in a quarter of the existign countries, but his house uses like 30 times the average amount of electricity.

ALSO, I don't believe this should be locked. I put it on here for feedback and flamign, even though its kind of brutal and primal, is part of that. If a flame war helps me change this properly then thats what I want.

If that is the case, then go for it.
I would suggest however, that you break it into smaller chunks;
Let the criticisms focus on that topic, fix it, and post a new one.

As it stands, it's hard to amend that whole thing in one bite, and attacks upon it are reduced to rather emotional grandstanding and gut-reactions; to get into specifics with such a large block of text would require a good couple of hours in a single sitting.

If you are truly open to working towards ‘truth’… then my flaming must be directed at your method. Not material.

The problem is, you didn't start this as a search for truth: but as a rant.

Im writing a book on polotics and this is the first few pages of what I already have. its basically a rant about the world and I doubt it will ever be published, except as an internet opinion piece. Why thank you for the lovely comment on how yo would like to kill me by leaving me out on a desloate island. Thanks to global warming if I survive there for 9 more years I will either be goo or the researchers will be proven wrong.
